the acting and dialogues are really quite appalling, very old school, while i vaguely remember watching this when it aired, and thinking it was somewhat decent at the time, but looking at it now, everything is quite crude.
three hours in, they are bantering about everyday stuff or showing the past. how can they convince the viewers if even the charaters are not interesting in the reason why the lead is revived and returned, or what exactly he is.
right from the start, the dude cant act...granted he just woke up, but really, getting all stress just because the uniforms and students are different. i can see that reaction if they wer in kindergarten, but common highschool. and without a shred of doubt he seems to accpet the year in 2017? a few episodes in, he still seems completely clueless walking around with popicles, while its partly the script, does not not know how he appears on screen? i liked him as a child actor, so cute, but as ml not so much. and i only just noticed the sanpaku eyes, probably a side effect from surgically enlarging them.
i do miss lee yeon hee, havent seen her in any decent shows in recent years.
isnt the subject too serioudsfor RU? mis cast. KSR looks stunning as always, but this role doesnt suit her either, very out of place. that dialogue in the interrogation scene looks and sounds really contrived.
First episode was okay. RJE looked way better before all the plastic surgery though.
ikr, i cant stand seeing her like this..almost .reminds me of the before and after pictures those people with body dysphoria and eating disorder. hope she is healthy.
here i thought goth boy decides to become human, but nope, he is still behaves like the beast that his father sees in him.
common woman, why shoot all those arrows. busy work..get back in the kit, i mean infirmary. when it comes to revenge, she is quicker than gps to locate the king but ended up shooting the prince. she is a piece of work.
Netflix just handing out money like candy so Korean drama writers must have gotten lazy. I like this cast but…
asianboss has an informative video on this very topic. the truth is with bigger budget, especially from platforms like netflix, they cannot afford to stray too far from the beaten path.
