i have pondered that question myself, not just with this drama, but after watching other historical ones, the long answer is too wordy, the short answer is the paper screened door.

great show, always memorable. enjoyed this category of projects since misaeng.

nah, its just sad that you feel the need to make simple point in so many words - noone is questioning that it is a cross genre show, but that it isnt done well.

the soul switcheroo fantasy plotline so far is pure gimmick - was fun for at most ten minutes, but gets old real fast. it does more damage than good to the show by diluting the original story of palace intrigue, power struggle and the crown princess.

you must be delirious from eating too manydonuts to fuel that lard brain. when did i complain about the jail stuff as boring, the earllier part is quite entertianing before he went full jackiechan.

no matter how narcissistic one is, making out with oneself...hmm no fun. but they probabaly more intrigued by new bodies. and if they are looking for enunch, why is she still going around mens clothing? and why the exaggerated urgency from all family memebers as if she would get caught any day now while strolling through the forest in this dark dank era.

story and characters we have seen dozens of times, to the point one show looks just like the other but with less memorable people, actually she was good in my dearest. this just isnt the right role for her. but fits well in my wind down time. oh well.
