I think all movies and dramas are not original in the first place, most are talking about revenge, pain, love, even movies from other countries have such theme, superhero theme is mostly about killing the bad guys for example and many things.
The difference is only the characters and how the story written. So far, i am really enjoying this drama coz it’s funny, i like comedy. This show also has serious tone, tbh i really like bo sang phil’s character haha. I like someone who can laugh it off but can also get serious at the same time. It’s really frustrating for me to watch a 100% serious character, it’s like a pain in the ass. We all have problems in our life but this guy can show it that you can still enjoy your life during the investigation. It also makes sense to be able to defend yourself if you want to investigate since he has a dark past, he just wants to do his best, he was a kid before so he cannot defend his mom, now he wishes he can protect everyone he loves.
I think it’s just my kind of show, comedy, action, investigation, but of course not everyone has the same taste :)

It’s ok to rate it, but people can anyhow rate it, like a 1 when the drama is only on ep 1 or 2 like i have seen in other drama, not this one. But i saw someone rated this show a 5 on ep 2, like, ok. Episode 2 and u have rated it a 5 lol.
I am on ep 7 and i was thinking why jin ah kept seeing this douchebag guy? I mean when she wanted to get her new phone, she could have asked her brother to accompany her with gyu min, she knows gyu min is like that. She is asking for it. I am annoyed to see her kept repeating the same mistakes urghhh. This gyu min also doesn’t make sense, he left her first and with his background, he should be able to find a new gf, he is not that ugly, wtf is he doing right now? He is contradicting. Yup,this should be made into a movie instead. No need to prolong the episodes.
I like all the characters in this drama, especially the lead female, she is not a typical female character in kdrama. I like it. I usually get annoyed by the female lead wishy washy attitude, haha. Boy, this has changed my overall outlook on female lead character in kdrama, i hope there will be more female characters like this, you rock!! And Of course lee joon gi always gives flawless performance. I like how this drama is not too heavy coz it has humors too, unlike other kdrama with law theme. Good job writer nim! I’m really happy that this drama got high rating in south korea.

Also, it's hard to make a remake and satisfy the current original fans, you know, just like Netflix adaptation for death note, people keep bashing it from being racist to weird adaptation.
