This drama isn't as great as I thought it would be. I can't find that spark that people find in this…
I just watched til episode 4 and i thought this drama is very predictable.. I mean u know many kdramas have adopt same plot like this, hehe something like there's a killer going rampage and targeting you and your lover.
I have not watched this drama, Wondering whether I should start to watch this drama, should i watch?
@AnanyaS @DianaCarvalho Thanks, I have started to watch it til eps 4, well, the mermaid character is interesting. In term of originality, the story's plot is not new at all, very predictable, and many other k-dramas have this kind of plot, but it's quite good to watch for it's light-hearted comedy. I somehow watch it while i was eating meal and when i was about to sleep.

@Anniee hehe yes, it seems that duksun has been taking care of Taek like forever lol, while i cannot see her taking care of junghwan hmm... only the birthday gift when she was still excited of junghwan liking her i guess..

@Annie I so agree on this, it's fine for me when duk sun end up with either of them, i like the story as a whole not only the romance part. I remember when i was in high school, me and my best friend liked the same guy ahahaha but i gave up and she also gave up because we thought friendship is more important.. although when the guy actually confessed that he liked me, i was still hesitate and I actually rejected him hahaha maybe because i did not like him that much, i mean it was just a puppy love during teenager's time and I feel that this feeling is easily change.. and i was so nervous too coz i did not have any r/s experience before.. So forgive me if i was being that way just like duk sun hahaha coz we were young then.. it's a different story if we were mature, we should know who we like already..
@yas01 it's ok to disagree, really, i am not gonna change your opinion lol, that was my opinion only, i watched it as a whole, and i am not anyone's fan, in fact, i am everybody's fan, I also like jung hwan, his personality is like that, nothing is wrong with his personality. What i mean is that both are quiet, taek and jung hwan, but taek is more honest and aggressive i think, he announced that he likes doksun to everybody while junghwan kept it in the dark hehe. For me, Jung Hwan just learn his lesson in the harsh way coz when he hesitates, he will lose, hmmm well, it's only a drama, don't get so work up with it hahaha, cheers.
All in all, duksun is only 1 so she cannot make both of them happy and being together with her. She needs to choose, and i think junghwan will also end up being happy even though not with dok sun, I can see that Jung Hwan will find another great woman to be with him coz he also has a great personality, he is such a warm hearted person as u can see the way he treated his friend and his family, he might not show it at the surface (communicate & talk about it directly) but he really care and he does things for them deeply. Ahhh this is a great show, i am gonna miss it dearly..

Sorry but i need to disagree with u on this, i can see clearly from the beginning that doksun likes taek, and that he is the husband, when i watched 1st episode, how doksun concern about Taek when he fell down, she piggy back him and it was so cute to see them like that. Taek was so quiet (but he is honest with his feeling) and dok sun was so cheerful and talkative, their personalities compliment each other.
Jung Hwan is someone who cannot communicate his feelings well (he somewhat ashamed of his own feeling), as u can see the way he communicate with his family, he is someone who acts cool even though he is a warm hearted person, but for love, u should tell the person that u like them instead of hiding it and play it as a joke. Dok Sun was still young and she does not know what love is, until dongryong ask her about who she likes, coz she only thinking and liking people that she thinks likes her.
In episode 18, Jung Hwan said about the timing, but then he admit that he lost the timing because he hesitates too much. So, it's not the timing's fault. He finally learned his lesson about making your own damn fate, because screw timing and coincidence—you make that fate yourself with every choice, and hesitation and inaction are choices too.
Don't get me wrong, i am not taek team or junghwan team, but i can see why Taek is the husband.. the main point about reply drama is their friendship and the neighborhood r/s, not the romance, it's only a tiny part of their r/s. I think this drama is really the best :)
