Happy to be a fellow denizen of Dramaland, especially with such perceptive and poetic fellow citizens! My favorite dramas - and the list is becoming extensive - help me relate to that oddity known as the real world. My dear wife would probably laugh but the dramas that resonate strongly with me help me be a better and more empathetic person. Thank you so much for your beautiful article about the unique geography of our interior homeland!

Episode 14 and still entranced by the honesty and healing beauty of this incredible drama. The slow pace, long silences, and views of the mountains only add to the poignancy of the intermingled stories. The palpable sense of community, best seen in the Book Club, reminds me of pre-COVID times and is all the more beautiful for that. Park Min-Young's smile is radiant - especially as she begins to open her heart. Two more episodes to go and then perhaps will start again ...

I've just watched the first episode and am hooked by the poetry of the writing, setting, and acting. After finishing 'Healer' and enjoyed Park Min-Young's performance, I wanted to see her in something else and happily stumbled on this drama. I found myself relaxing as I adjusted to the relaxed pace of the story, quite different than the heart racing 'Healer.' I'm looking forward to the next episode.

I appreciate your passion for this wonderful drama but you never say what you found unsatisfying about the ending. While perhaps it was not entirely consistent with all the twists of this multi-dimensional tale, I found it emotionally satisfying. (I would say the same about the end of Hotel Del Luna without quite understanding what exactly is happening at the end of the drama. Same for Evergreen. But these endings are emotionally satisfying - the privilege of fiction - without carefully tying up all the loose ends.)

I read this article again. In many ways, it sums up why Korean dramas are unique and as entertaining as they are, have so much to say to us. This beautifully written article is a wonderful combination of thoughtfulness, and information, and fun. Anushka, have you tried to write a screenplay?

I've learned so much from K-dramas and believe they help me live a better life. Destiny is a question God asks - it is up to us to find the answer - paraphrased from Goblin. Even comedies like I am not a Robot offer some rather profund thoughts about what is consciousness. Hotel Del Luna's exploration of loss and time really touched my heart.

I'm so happy that you loved 'A Piece of Your Mind,' one of the most beautiful dramas I've seen in a long time. The cinematography was particularly gorgeous, the story original and moving, and of course, wonderful acting, particularly from Che Soo-bin. Wonderful soundtrack as well. I was sorry to see it shortened when I did not receive a strong response. Evergreen is another forgotten drama that I am particularly fond of.
