I agree, I heard people say that the ending makes sense because the name for the series is making our days count and it is showing how we don't know how much time we have left, but I think it would have been better to have him get in an accident and almost die only to wake up in the hospital were they realize how they need to make their days count. Has the same message with a happy ending.

Yes she talked to him but none of the words she used in their conversations were her own they were FL. Example, there was one conversion he was having online with SFL were he was asking which was her favorite I think it was books by a certain author and she was confused and when he started listing them, she just picked one at random. I don't think they ever had a genuine conversation.
