I really like the cast this season. I've watched S1/S3 and I'm almost done with S2 atm and I like how Heart Signal developed. I have the feeling S4 is spicier and very quick in progression.
I think part II was good in its own way. Think about it, what were the options for teenagers in dystopia, apocalyptic surroundings. Happy but boring end, tragic last stand against those alien creatures, in my opinion lame and too cruel. But the final blow throughout the stocked up emotions and students going crazy? For example "All of us are dead" had a happy ending and I was very disappointed with it, because it just seemed boring and too unrealistic for me...
u are all mad because ur shocked and I think the end was great in its own way. As a highschooler, I tried to emphasize with the students and I thought about somebody going mad pretty early. Since the end of part I, they showed that those teenagers could go crazy after another platoon was left by its seargent and that's just the way it is. Although many characters were cheerful, the mood and events happening must have been very depressing to the point were you don't know what to do anymore.
And I really liked the fact that most of the class died in the end. When the crazy one sprayed loads of bullets into the mass of his classmates in a closed & smal room, many students would die in instant. Those who survived the first wave of gunshots tried to take him down but unluckily got shot aswell.
My critics on the second part are that first, it wasn't as exciting and thrilling anymore since the main plot were on character developement. On the other hand I kept watching because I was curios of the ending. And lastly, I think that in many Kdramas lately, the ending and aftermath is rushed because we just saw kimchi taking his exam. I was very curios to the end what happened with the other characters (Hana, bullied girl, Idol rookie) and how they dealt with the aftermath.
maybe take a look at my review, to give some insight into another opinion....
