Alternate ending how? What are you confused about?
He got an eye donation again and this time it worked. When it said "3 years before" they meant 3 years before that scene where he walked a guy across the street. The hospital scene where he could see was still 3 years after the events of most of the show, 3 years after the break up, etc.
Because the whole story was trying to convey the message that Day can find happiness and fulfillment even if he's…
No we didn't "know" that. Andi t's not about Day rejecting the surgery or not, he could have gotten a transplant int he future, after the end of the show,or the show could have ended with the surgery still upcoming. Him getting his vision back doesn't impact the story, only undermines the message.
People angry that Day got cured of his blindness as if most blind people wouldn't want to see again if they could,…
Because the whole story was trying to convey the message that Day can find happiness and fulfillment even if he's blind. And he DID. So giving him his sight back is so unnecessary and undermines the message. Most disabled people won't ever be "cured". This resolution to Day's story is unrealistic and unnecesary; it's like saying "well, he learned to be happy while blind but like...we can't let him "suffer" too much so why not give him his eyes back".
I'm convinced that so many people watching this show have no idea what "camp" means. The show is working to balance so many difficult factors, and doing it pretty well too! This is a show pushing all the boundaries on how much explicit gay sex they can show - and they're working with a big cast of actors, many of whom haven't been in anything significant before but are doing a pretty good job! They had to find people willing to have nasty gay sex on camera and still hope for some kind of a career, that's a tall order. Their budget is probably not huge, yet the production quality of the show is pretty decent. I won't defend the random English dialogue, but dude, the plot is pretty good?? I'm invested! I came into Playboyy just for the sex, but now I actually like these couples and the plot is interesting. The show is delivering exactly what it said it would and more. It's balancing funny, campy, over the top scenes, with an interesting storyline and pretty damn hot sex scenes. It's a show that feels authentically queer and I love that.
If you're uncomfortable with sex, why are you watching?
