She left in the midde of filming because she had a DUI scandal. For this, I can't really blame the writer. They probably introduced Damin as a fill in, I don't know if her character existed in the original script or not, but it really looked like she appeared out of nowhere because they needed a backup for the 2 fighters and it was supposed to be Hyeonju

And the fact that she went out clubbing while being investigated was ugly too. Like I'm not saying it's illegal to drink while being investigated for DUI (at least I don't think it is), but it's not something that shows that you're repenting and it's not going to leave a good image.

And they just gave all the money to some guy who was corrupt himself. Gunwoo and Woojin weren't the dumb but strong characters like Luffy, Naruto, etc, who at least have traits of specific intelligence and growth. They were just plain dumb, so the fact that they were able to catch the villain felt... unreal? I guess

It felt incomplete and I'm not even talking about Saeron, I'm talking about 8 episodes.
I couldn't feel anything for any characters besides Woo Dohwan. The rest of them were all written in a shallow way. Even Woojin was kinda empty. His personality was 'Marines' and that's it, the typical character created purely to give more depth to the main character. Mr. Choi's story wasn't well detailed. We don't see how the villain became that bad, how he climbed up so fast, he was the cliche villain.
Overall, that's it, the characters weren't made to function by themselves, but only to create empathy towards the main character.

The fights were amazing though, that's why I watched it anyway.
