Zhang Wan Yi should get medal for his acting. I am so impressed with his skills - his emotional palette is out this world. His strength as a ruler, compassionate and loving as a brother, and a loyal friend to everyone who is close to him. So elegant and respectful. Plus he is handsome in a very unique way, and so well spoken. One of a kind <3

What a powerfull drama. Some of the scenes I can just watch over and over again. Conveying such strong emotions between the characters. Especially the 'sister and brother' relationship between Xiaoyao and Cang Xuan. The love between them is so beautiful and pure.

It is worth it. It is very underated. It deserves at leat an overall rating of 8,5-9. Very professional and powerful.

Well yes, many different opinions. Even though the plot isn't perfect, it is well made. All of it in my opinion. Beautiful scenes, great cast, the settings, great symbolic details, the music, and they do have a passionate chemistry. Worth a watch.

Dino tells Rak that he might not be able to control himself if Rak smiles at him. Just after his friend tried to rape him. Seems like romanticising uncontrollable lust is desirable for a beginning relationship. Sure, but in this situation it is way off.
Perhaps that's why they deleted the scene

Yes and no. More like a bromance. I can most definitely recommend you watching it if you are looking for bl. It is beautiful in so many ways, and shows a strong a deep friendship. Also more than a friendship. The main characters show clear affection for each other on screen. I can also recommend you to watch the shorter version - special edition.
