does that actually happens? ew i don't wanna watch if that's the case
It's not framed positively by the narrative. It's even heavily implied as something he does, because he feels lacking. Just because it's in a show doesn't mean it's endorsing it, it's our job as viewers to look deeper as why and how this character ended up in situations like this. I'd take what OP said with a grain of salt, give it a chance for sure.
Okay i am pan its not about being bi . If he cheat with girl it would be stereotypes that bi people cheat . He…
Hi pan, I'm bi. Cheating stereotype isn't just "bi ppl cant pick a side" it's bi ppl are cheaters in general, too "promiscuous", unable to "tie down" at the end of the day can I recommend this character to my other bi friends without them having to know they cheat before hand to avoid being crushed? no. without them being disappointed? its one more character on a long list? no. alI did was express my disappointment, and this has turned into emotional labor to justify that 😭😫
I actually think this has nothing to do with his sexuality but rather his personality, if he had cheated with…
I'm not saying it's out of character for Teh to do that, or that it was his sexuality that made him. I'm simply saying its VERY common for bi characters to be made into cheaters, (with whatever reason) and with that stereotype following real bi people. It's disappointing to see the writers add to that long list. After all many bi people go where bi characters are in media for representation then to have writers made them in cheaters something they repeatly have to push back against being. I'm am aware bi people CAN be cheaters and maybe making Teh into one "fit" but it fit because of the writers making it fit. It's simply disappointing its another character that fed into that stereotype.
Know everyone is going back and front about if the cheating with within character or not. All I can think is, was it REALLY necessary to make the bi character into a cheater? that stereotype is very heavy linked to bi people, and the bi community have been begging for writers to stop making bi characters cheaters 😭😭 Yes Teh is impulsive, that was very shown in S1 but he could've easily been impulsive about something else, even ignoring the stereotype, really making another person an issue between the two, come on we had that in S1. WHY are writers so stuck in the idea that the perfect idea to bring growth in a relationship is to add another person into the mix 😭
Mik Thogara's dramas seem to be safe in that regard.
Will give u the details in as little detail as possible lmfao! There's a SA scene with ML&FL and a sub story about r*pe, with scenes to heavy imply it. That's all I can remember!
