honestly didnt expect myself to love it this much as i dont usually watch medical dramas. this drama is good at making us believe that we know whats going on and letting us assume whats going to happen. each episode is so warm and there are close to no cliches, as well as major Big Bad Guys unlike many other dramas. Love the development between the characters, not just the main characters but also the side characters(friends, family, patients, etc. Casting is so accurate and well done - my personal favourite is gyeolwoo, where this character actually looks like what shes supposed to be. would definitely rewatch before season 2 comes out next year!
Grew up watching the original taiwanese version and i have to say that compared to that, this is a very watered down version and more lighthearted. However, if you are one who have not seen the original version, this is definitely worth a watch! Actors are cast perfectly for each role and its definitely not lacking as a story of its own (ignoring the fact that its a adapted story). If you’re a fan of this adaptation PLEASE check out the taiwanese version too! its been a decade and i still bawl my eyes out when i rewatch it.
For me it is totally worth it. I wish I had the FL in my life as a role model. Never mind how much people are…
Yesss. ive seen a couple of episodes so far and love how she wastes no time unlike some other dramas where half of the time is spent wallowing in self pity. i wish I’m half as strong as she is :’)
Totally, the female lead here doesn't backdown for even a little, therefore this drama never came as frustating…
Thank you for your reply! For now ive already seen a few episodes and theyre totally intense and satisfying! Love how the female lead actually takes matters into her own hands right from the start instead of relying on another male figur. I’m hooked alright, but one should only watch an episode or two at a time because of how intense this is hahaha
Great acting(especially Gun!), engaging storyline that kept me on the edge the entire time! It was not predictable and the story is multi-layered. Particularly loved how each and every character had a flaw and there isnt a character who is prominently more powerful than others. Also appreciated that there were episodes dedicated to the discovery of each individual character (would have loved to see development of the twins' story though). Not sure about what others think of the ending but i personally really liked it as it wasn't one of those "hero saved the day in the last 10mins and wraps the story up and everything was fine and dandy afterwards" - instead, it was realistic and opens up to possiblities. With that said i;m REALLY stoked for season 2!
For everyone complaining about the subs, just open two windows, crop and sync them yourselves until it gets fixed. its just a 10min part and you’re watching it for free with actual subs on the same day of release
So did he actually die in the end... under the picture it said "don't be Ill, mom" (he probably called her mom…
i assumed that he wrote it for his own mother back at home but it was just at the right time and under the right context that she saw the message at the end... i do choose to believe hes alive though :-(
i enjoy it when the victim kicks ass tho i hope that happens in this drama
