to my understanding, he's alive and currently the new king's teacher. You have to watch all the credits and at the end, it shows he's at the old place he used to live catching the feather that was flying from the place HS and the boy were standing...yeah go figure... but he's alive and it showed
Already skipped the side couples now have to skip the stupid ex gf stupid band starting stories....like WHO GIVES A SHIT ABOUT HER OMG!!! so there only a few mins of the main couple . I like the leads but i think i have to dislike this series...it's getting worse
I have read the comments from someone who had read the book; they said the drama is different from the book so I think the ending will be different, too. For example: the ML in the book was a eunuch and the emperor was involved with Haishi romantically while in the drama, he is not a eunuch and FL and the emperor has a platonic relationship. Also, ML is supposed to only able to live for a few years, but they said something about the mermaid has the power to get rid of all kinds of poisons, and Haishi is linked to the mermaid so....I deduce that it will be happy ending :) or at least let's hope ;)
