The end is kind of annoying. I mean after all the time apart, why would he want to go to Europe or whatever and not bring her with? It would have been better if they didn't drag it out at the end about him got hit by a car. Anyways, still LOVE it!! They're so cute!!

Where did you watch the ending? I didn't see anything about a kid in the Youku version!
At the end he gave the throne to the son of his 3rd brother then went to her country to look for her, saying she's smart, she still alive...then when he got there on the desert, it showed a girl dressed in red sitting on the sand...or is that her in his memory? She didn't look like her though

Like Amy said, it's a happy endingIt's also a pretty good one imo. Feels "complete", unlike some others I've watched.
Great!! seriously, the other drama happy ending is so disappointing. After all the mishaps...like 60 something episode, they only show a few minutes of happy ending like I'll never let you go or legend of fuyao. I just hope that Three live three world the pillow book also have a satisfying happy ending and not like the book....
