I love that even though it’s a comedy there’s some tear jerking moments too and when the characters need to deliver serious or powerful lines the comedy doesn’t take away from those moments very hard to do but they managed so well all the cases are so interesting

the theme song quotes always hits so hard, he went from unfeeling or doesn't care about human lives at all to feeling everything and wishing to just live peacefully with her "I only wish to stay with the one I love, watching every sunrise and sunset. I want to be with you forever”

Sa Ding ding ost never misses but i fear for my life after the Rong Xian arc that whenever they use this song in the drama we know the heartbreak is coming, let me old on to the little comedy scenes to distract us bc we all knew what we were in for with the theme song spoilers but still it's done so beautifully

I’ve never seen Ao Ruipemg play this type of serious character before he’s usually the goofball or funny roles so this makes me see him in a new light

goodness that ost alone the theme song opening is perfection what a great way to start the year

only downside are the spoilers and deaths I wish I didn’t know some parts but still so good

oh my gosh 10 mins in and this is a keeper the visuals alone are breathtaking feels like the most expensive set, the amount of background actors alone wow adds so much to the chaos and atmosphere so refreshing to be following an ordinary couple trying to survive this is a gem!

HOPING WE GET A GOOD DRAMA FROM START TO END bc a lot of similar dramas with this vibes the writers be fumbling the last 10% so hard it makes me wanna cry the C-TRAUMA endings this year is just too much, let us have a happy december Cdrama gods!

Neo Hou's acting is beyond excellent in this one the look of longing, regret and sadness in his eyes is so melo and perfect for someone who lived thousands of years and experienced it all so impressive

No sad ending

BAHAHAH the ending musical dance gets me every time especially if it ended on a cliffhanger or more serious note this was advertised as an epic drama but instead they are giving us so much COMEDY GOLD i love it

I only started and base don comments angst is coming praying for a happy ending

story wise it's generic, everything is slow paced but it's so addictive especially getting tiny pieces of romance or interactions with the leads so wholesome 40 eps is a bit much though idk how we survived the 50+ family drama cdrama era lol

2nd ML really annoyed me i couldn't stand how aggressive he is after she said no a million times he keeps bugging her lol

oh this one is beautiful didn't get it at ep 1 but it's so well written by ep 2 i was on this emotional rollercoaster and really felt for the main characters. It's beautiful that ML keeps referring to Mi Ae in his darkest hours and took her advice their connection and how much she means to him is everything so touching
