Incredible! I could have sworn it would have a tragic ending. I was totally satisfied with the ending. Until episode 20, everything was fine. After that, the story got very slow. The show could easily have had a maximum of 35 episodes. However, overall the story was ok and although it is one of love, here it was presented totally different from what I was already accustomed to romantic series.
This is the first Chinese series I've watched. I was on YouTube looking for the trailer for the animated film "White Snake" and I stumbled upon this series. That's how the great adventure in watching Chinese fantasy series began for me. For me it was an extraordinarily pleasant and relaxing series. The actors were chosen extraordinarily well. It is an enchanting series with a story that surely reaches everyone's heart.

I'm a little undecided about what I should say. I can't say that it was a bad story, but only that it could have been screened much more carefully. The fight scenes were not great and some effects still needed finishing. But, considering that it is a production from 2017 (it was probably filmed in 2016), I accepted these deficiencies. Overall, it was a beautiful story.
What to start with? It has 55 episodes, but it could have been reduced to a maximum of 30/35. Although I like fantasy series, here everything was too much. The basic story is captivating, but the series was filled with all sorts of useless moments. The acting was a bit forced, in some cases. All in all, it's not a bad series, it's just inexplicably long and too full of unnecessary moments.
Unlike the first season, it was a little too chaotic. The scenario seemed pretty forced. I don't think 30 episodes were needed. They could create a more fluid and consistent scenario. I wish I could see more episodes with the modern world. Maybe it'll be season three. But overall, I've been watching with inters this season. I don't even say anything about the lead actors, they were just as wonderful. I really felt a plus in their acting. I also recommend this season without reservations.
