litterally dont understand why the ratings are so low and why some people dont like it . I'm an avid fan of historical…
I'm surprised the ratings are so low, since sageuk dramas usually have higher ratings than melodramas and romantic comedies.

Guys! Guys! It's on drama.net now! Yay!!!!
I just checked d-addicts yesterday (the forum that subs most unlicensed Japanese dramas) and it still hasn't been subbed. :(

I feel bit uncomfortable with the main couple's age gap :/ (not the actors though, i'm used to it, just the characters)
You clearly aren't watching The Spring Days of My Life then. I believe the age gap between the main romantic leads is around 20 years.

Where can I find the special?
Use VLC to open the raw video. Then under the subtitles menu at the top click "Add subtitle track" and select the sub file.

Please excuse this ignorant question, but what does it mean to be a "post-it girl"?
If you watch the original from Taiwan you really get why she's called a "post-it" girl.

You can download it at d-addicts. You have to download the raw and the subs as separate files and merge them, though.

Kare Kano was made into a 2-part live action film last year and I liked it. Not as good as the manga but I don't think a drama would be much better. Can't see Naruto working as a drama/film series, no matter which country producing it. I think Blood+ would do well as a drama but not most of the anime you listed here, especially a classic like Escaflowne. I'm just really picky when it comes to drama adaptations of manga series.

Just read the manga. Much better than both the anime and the drama (which I liked, but the manga is way. better.) Especially the character development for Ren/Lian. Seriously.

The ending I truly disagree with you on is "49 Days". It was actually such a good plot twist. It basically proves that fate will win out in the end no matter how hard you try to go against it. Also, the fact that I bawled like a baby shows the emotion that the ending was meant to invoke in the viewer. The fact that they want against the happily ever after standard K-drama ending was something I liked about it, and yet it still had some closure to leave me satisfied. Life isn't perfect, and 49 Days' ending proved that.
