I saw another appreciation post for the Battle of Changsha on Weibo. Personally, this drama deserves its high…
I watched 4 episodes and the FL is so childish and is already annoying me. Does she have a character development throughout the show, cuz I really can't watch anymore ðŸ˜
Also, what the Japanese did to all those countries makes them deserve to die 100 times over. When I learnt their history, I was so disgusted by their hypocrisy. Nowadays, literally nobody knows about Japanese Imperialism and the atrocities they committed and all those J-Dramas that make out Japan to be the victims really make my eyes roll!
1. Toshiko will forever be my favourite character. The poor woman, seeing her suffering really makes me cry. She…
3. This could've easily been a happy ending even though Toshiko died. Like, why did they even add ep 12 in? Made him look so dumb I skipped through the whole ep

And then second would probably be Shutaro, then Toshiko's kids (aren't they just adorable?)
2. It was all heart warming until ep12 where bro kept insisting that the emperor and stuff were such good guys and what not. It sounded so hypocritical to me and made me so disgusted hearing it because anybody who knows Japanese history and what they did after colonising neighbouring countries, would also feel the same.
The emperor and his advisors ain't good people my dude, they deserve to die a hundred times over for what they did.
I'm alternating between Judge Dee and this show. This is a bit "fluffy" and silly, but I think the mysteries are…
tbh most of the criminals in Judge Dee end up being the poeple that are either closest to him, or the people nobody thought would be the criminal. As this became a reoccurring motif in the drama, everything became way too obvious.
Start "Hidden Love" (modern) or "Mysterious Lotus Casebook" (historical).
For historical you can try "The Romance of Tiger and Rose". I haven't watched it because unlike u I'm not a huge fan of romcoms haha, but it has really good ratings.
Also definitely try "Arsenal Military Academy", it's not exactly historical since it's in the early 20th century, but it's really good!
It was amazing till the romance got annoying around ep25 and I dropped it. I honestly don't recommend watching it since I know most people will drop it after seeing the love triangle part of the story drag on and on.
