What is the name of the actress that plays Khun Jane?

Pete has kinda always been a jerk though. Even in KMA he's a jerk most of the time and I never found him to be a very likable character. I'm a big fan of Tay so I keep an open mind about the characters he plays but Pete can be really too much with his toxic jealousy. I admit a little jealousy can be cute but this is too much now. Still I really like PeteKao mostly because I think Kao would be a good influence on Pete and he will be a better person for it.

Yeah I agree with this. It's not so much that I feel thirsty for an on screen kiss between them but it's just that it would seem natural at this stage and given the character of Pete who's always jumping Kao. On the few occasions they kiss off screen it's always fade to black which is fine I guess but can be frustrating to some viewers.
Anyway Tay and New had an interview in a magazine and they said it's was the director's decision not to show kisses. Here's the english translation on twitter:

I loved Tay in 3 will be free too! I personally think he's doing good as Pete but he can do only so much with the character he's been given to play. I don't actually sense the discomfort playing as a couple on screen but mostly off screen when they're asked to do fan service-y things.

I agree the their story is very superficial and lacks any depth whatsoever so far (KMA included). It's cliche all around and nothing that hasn't been done before or better. I'm not even generally a fan of many romances because invariably they all end up boring me at some point, so usually for me the enjoyment in a romance comes from the chemistry and/or the people who work on it. So personally since I'm a fan of their work as well as their personalities in general, I mostly am content with seeing them in a drama together (as I will be seeing them in dramas where they are not together; it's not just specific to TayNew pairing only even though I would prefer it). I never had high expectations and almost never have from romance based dramas in general so maybe I'm not even the target audience. :/ So if you're not their fan and you came in hoping for a good story I definitely can understand the disappointment. Anyway let's see maybe things would improve story wise and the director is the same guy from He's Coming to Me so maybe there is still hope.

If they'd only make more GL dramas, I'd jump on it! I was hoping GMM would announce at least one series with a gl couple for next year but sadly another year for disappointment.

I see. I guess that explains the "you always want me on top" and "do you want me to ride it" joke from ep3.

Can I take a moment away from the bl couples and PeteKao drama to appreciate how pretty Ploy who plays Manao is? I actually hope she and Rain get some actual development and screen time and are not just filler characters.

Still better than sotus s where the fact they were physically intimate was only alluded to if you really pay attention. Anyway personally I don't care that much for hot sexy scenes (though if they are there it's a bonus) but I know we all expect different things. :)

Are Pete and Kao written by the author to be versatile too or do they perpetuate the seme/uke bl stereotypes?

Yeah this gets so tiring. Unfortunately many bl writers perpetuate this by making it such a big part of the relationship. I know bl is written for a female audience but I don't think people realize how heteronormative and borderline homophobic/sexist such depictions come of as. :(

Dunno what it is in book but... I assume Mork is the same age as Rain who is the same age as Kao. I think I'm KMA it was said that Sun just graduated so he must be about 4 years older. Mork is probably 3rd year like Kao so I guess 20 and 24?

Have you read the latest interview posted in a magazine or some such yesterday? Tay and New were talking about kiss scenes in DBK and said that the director didn't want to make too many kiss/love scenes because he wanted to focus on story and their acting. They said there is one kiss which is apparently "advanced version" because of location of the kiss but refused to give any more details. They were also asked if they ever asked the director to fake a kiss or not kiss and New said he has never done that.

So at least based on this interview I don't think it's them being unprofessional and I think it's baseless speculation by us fans. Honestly this whole thing that Tay and New are at odds with each other thing is getting blown out of proportion by fans. New and his gf got a lot of shit few months ago and had to quit twitter (he's back now) and since then Tay and New have been less openly affectionate with each other in public but honestly in bts footage they always seem the same.

Yeah I too want to hold back from criticizing too much so early in the series . I mean I agree with a lot of them that the plot is nothing new and Pete is being an ass, but I assume its based on the book even if they were a side couple in it. I don't really know how far the scriptwriters were allowed to change things from the book and though I know the Pete Kao part was expanded for this, they are possibly working on the notes given by the author. We don't know the whole details.

Yeah I totally get it. If it weren't for Pete/Kao, my patience would be severely tested by now. Hopefully they don't dwell on this one issue for the entire series like you said. Do we know how faithful it is to the novel and whether this conflict played out differently in it?

Well it's based on a book so I guess they try to stick roughly as close to it as possible. So we probably can't just point the fault at the scriptwriters.

I agree it looks childish but there are people like him that exist who are really this insecure and can often be much older than even Pete is in this drama. So while it's annoying it is not really that unrealistic (not implying you're saying it's unrealistic). It can be a difficult thing to overcome for those affected with such crippling insecurities and some unfortunately never do. I mean I admit I love jealous Pete but this is definitely on the toxic end of the spectrum. My hope is that this drama will give Pete the character growth to become a more confident person.
