It finally came the day the world recognizes his talent and hard-work. He is one of those few actors that I considered have both look and skills. Although he didn't get wide recognized in The Glory of Tang Dynasty which I think he did a great job in, thank to Under the Power, people are more aware of him now, with more projects with him as the main roles I hope he will keep improving and reach his goal. :)
I didn’t expect this movie to be this deep and I enjoyed it. It included a lot of common issues that teenagers might go through. I felt sad for each single character. The matter of “feeling” and “feeling alive” is relatable.
I love everything about this series. It went all the way up to the top of my all time favorite drama list. It's like a perfect series I have been waiting for so long and Japan just manage to do it in the genre of fluffy-cute love yet with meaningful plot. I don't know if it's just me but there is something special about this drama that I often forgot it is a BL while watching it. Probably because the plot is so focus, heart warming and relatable. Watching this series while it was airing is like going to a happy therapy session once a week. The side couple's story and character is also as cute and adorable as they main one. Plus we have probably the best or one of the best female supporting character ever. I like Fujisaki character so much. Hopefully we can have more J-BLs because they always have quality ones.
I liked this. It's - as many people already said - similar to Chugakusei Nikki but also not. I think I actually…
same here actually prefer this series more than Chugakusei Nikki at least this one is more realistic in term of plot. I actually think the cinematography of this one is better than CN jmo.
I know a lot of people are liking the show and hyping it up, but I can't seem to enjoy it. I just finished episode…
honestly I don’t buy into how they fall for each other. Also Hijiri as a teacher is so weird, she did certain things that I don’t think if you are a teacher you would do that. Like there is proper ways to handle things properly as a teacher but it seems like she doesn’t know. It’s ok the writer just want her to end up with her student anyway.
I was surprised seeing Machida in this series. Still look as fine as he is or even better than in Cherry Magic. Anyway, doesn't matter how beautiful they portraying Suenaga and Kuroiwa's relationship, I still and simply feel bad for Kawai her fiance and actually Haraguchi and him are a very interesting cute pairing even more interesting than the main couple. A cool and frank Haraguchi aka his boss with a handsome, capable at work and dorky Kawai. Also I don't really like Suenaga character, I find her character is pretty conflicting at times and flat. I actually agree with Kuroiwa when he said she is not suitable to be a teacher in a sense although he didn’t really mean it because in several instances if I was her as a teacher I would do and not do those certain things. I think teacher and students like each other is possible but I don't buy into the story how Suenaga and Kuroiwa fallen in love with each other, seem unrealistic on Suenaga’s side. There is nothing special about the plot. Arimura's acting is probably my least favorite compared everyone else. I like the theme song and the last scene tho. And I can't believe it's Okada's debut acting. I think he did very well portraying his character considering this is his debut.
