I watch go ahead years back and was excited when I heard there is going to be a korean remake, I completely agree on sanha's dad portrayal feels he is just there as an extra compared to ling xiao's dad role in the family. sanha's mom is also so much more mean and annoying than the go ahead from what I remember. though I enjoy the romance in the korean drama remake better

and tbh i feel like the bond between the 3kids and 2 father seems more natural in a way, as in the kdrama sanha's dad seems more distant with the kids

but i have to say the kdrama version the moms are more annoying

this! i think the cdrama scenes where the father is drunk and upset hits me more than the kdrama version. maybe because in the cdrama they actually showed zi qiu washing his clothes secretly in the bathroom when he was a kid.
