on ep. 10. everyone does a great job but it’s the female characters (and actresses) who pull the heavy weight and make this something worth watching. Even the little girl - who is freaking adorable- does good work. highly recommend so far

One of the best I’ve seen in a very long time. The writing, acting, plot, subplots, characters and character development, sets, and costuming we’re all on point.

You really have to appreciate the Left Minister’s daughter. She Is a woman with a plan.

I really wanted to like it. It’s cute and lighthearted, but goes extremely slow. It’s more about the building of a “family“ than anything else. The antagonist doesn’t antagonize enough to keep the plot moving. Dropped at ep14

This is a masterpiece. it’s not “the best Chinese show I’ve seen” it is “one of the best shows I’ve seen” period.

this is really great! At ep 14 and still not sure what’s happening….due to good execution not because of bad writing. FL is a badass
