I didn't say that both the show r similar in any way. It's just the angst I felt as a viewer with both the show was same. I hate it when things r not resolved & left to the viewers for interpretation. There can be many interpretations including the ones I don't like . So I mostly tend to avoid shows with open endings. Anyways it's been like a year since I watched it & I've moved on from it.
the plot is very similar to Hindi series - Bepannah
I thought the same thing . nvr watched Bepannah but I know the story & this ones seems to hv the exact same story. so I came here to see & check whether it's a remake of some sort
I'm a binge watcher too who spends sleepless nights watching drama. That obviously leaves me sleep deprived & then I tend to sleep till late in the morning & people around me think that I sleep too much. I've started watching on-air dramas so that I can stop binge watching but I'm still doing it. I related to everything you wrote. especially the part when you finish a very good drama in 2 days & then you feel like you didn't give it the attention it deserved. Then I've this tendency to self edit while binge watching, i.e I fast forward unnecessary scenes which doesn't really makes any diff to the drama's main plot. I avoid Chinese dramas & has watched just 3 cdramas so far. most cdramas has so many episodes & once I start watching it I get too impatient to finish it which ruins my sleep cycle . & then there are Japanese dramas. most Jdramas has around 10 episodes & that makes it very easy for us binge watcher to finish it in one day.
I usually don't watch long dramas cos I'm quite impatient & I feel most of them tend to drag unnecessarily. I'm not into cdramas too & I've watched just 5 cdramas so far including "Ten Miles Of Peach Blossoms " which I really liked. I'm planning to check this out , So tell me is it worth watching ?
I watched it the first time on Feb this year & just now I had re-watched the first 2 episodes. I felt this show starts well but then it gets quite sad after thr 2nd separation. the blooming friendship betwn the two leads when they first met & later the romance feels so natural & pure. Their love story was heartwarming as well as so heart-wrenching. okay, I'm not saying it's a great drama. It's not even one of my fav drama . It has its flaws & I remember it starts dragging towards the end. But the love the two main leads had for each other [especially the male lead] touched my heart in such a way I can't explain it in words. & that makes this show memorable for me.
The first one was hilarious & is one of the funniest series I've ever seen. I'm halfway through the first episode & I feel this reboot is unfunny & pointless. I don't think I'm gonna continue . Tell me if it gets better ..
The end of ep 4 made me jumped from my sofa. , It better not be Hyun Bin that fell down the stairs. But it seems…
it's definitely him & he isn't dead. the preview for the next episode shows him in the hospital & his convo with his secretary makes it quit clear that he survived the fall.
If you're thinking of watching it ,don't let any negative comments/review or dislike for any actor let you stop from watching this drama. I'm not saying it's the best show in the entire universe but it's good & deserves a watch. this show is little diff from most of the kdramas & is quite unpredictable. Just 4 episodes has been aired so far & they've raised my expectations for the future episodes quite high. Give this drama a chance.
I loved your article. I watched this drama while it was airing & was rooting for both the boys. I don't think there's a single episode in which I didn't shed tears. It was such a emotional drama that made me feel so many complex emotions. I remember dreading the ending cos I was so sure that both the brothers won't get a happy ending. Thank god it wasn't the case. your observation skill is on other level. hats off to you .
I watched a few minutes of the 1st episode & I'm thinking of picking it up. but the nos. of episodes & a few review on twitter has confused me. so the ones who has watched all the episodes aired till now, just tell me ,should I watch it ?
how did the webtoon ended ? & is the professor really the incarnation of the husband or is it Kim Geum ?
I'm okay with both the male leads but till yesterday I thought that the professor was the husband. yesterday's episode got me so confused. & what's the case with that creepy guy who records everything with a secret camera ?btw thank you.
