You shoulda seen the striped slacks they made her wear in the anime.Ugh.They made her somewhat ditzy in the live…
i ended up finishing the whole show a few days after i commented, and i watched a few episodes of the anime but i completely forgot about it. I think her character annoyed me even further towards the end of the series and she could have been written much better, and could have been a much more important and less of a burden to the rest of the characters. She becomes much nicer but she still continues to be written as an idiot and i cant stand it. Her passion for glory and the support of ye qiu was her only good trait from what i remember. Her relationship with tang rou was one of my least favorite parts of the show. Overall i dont hate her i just think her writing could have been much more enjoyable.
i feel like this show is extremely average if you've seen like at least 2 or 3 crime/revenge and maybe even action dramas . nevertheless, it is still a good and entertaining show but i understand why some are nit picky with it. The cast is great, the plot lines keep me interested enough to continue watching, overall pretty good, although im only at episode 12 :)
i see why this is such a popular drama. it may be overrated scoring wise but i think it deserves the hype honestly. the cast is nice, the plot is exciting, and its fun to watch. the gaming parts are cool too.
i really am not liking chen guos character/actor, i cant tell if its because i dont like the actor or if its the character itself. she seems like an asshole and i hate the way they made her dress. im so glad this isnt a romance with her as the main lead bc i really dislike her. Maybe shell have some development soon, im only episode 11 right now.
just completed it and i gotta say all of the criticisms are true but it doesnt mean its a bad show. i found it really enjoyable and i only skipped through two episodes, especially the later scenes of shan shan being weak and mean to taro :/ lin yi saved this show though, i really liked it and would rewatch just for him lol
This is the first chinese drama im watching ever, i think this is a good introduction for me tbh, its super cliche but so were the kdramas i first watched. i read comments saying its boring and that it gets even worse but at episode 5 i gotta say im really liking it. its so cliche im cringing every episode but i love it xD
watching episode 16, the prince looks like a sad puppy :( he seems so desperate for his first love, its so cute watching him be so caring, the female lead hasnt shown much romance (even though she legit kissed him so many times) but i know thats the characters personality.
5 episodes in and im enjoying it and i find myself getting upset and wanting to stop watching due to the way the girls are treated by the male historians. the court ladies too they are so upsetting to the point where i debate whether i should keep watching because even when they stand up for themselves the bullies dont give a shit. its so frustrating, but at the same time i bet its realistic as to what it would be like in a way.
tbh i dont think i would recommend this to people looking for a conventionally "good" drama. i thoroughly enjoyed this but now that its over i dont quite understand. so many things happened but the ending has left me unsatisfied with the entire thing. I love it so much but in my heart i am imagining a spin off romantic comedy where all the princes travel to modern day and everyone is happy lol. i would be upset if hae soo doesnt remember the past in detail since it was a dream.
the moment when it rained in episode 8!!! i was seriously enjoying the show but i have a feeling this is where its gonna get even better !!!!! that moment was magical i cant wait
One of the most entertaining and hype shows ive watched in a long time tbh. although this show has its faults it stayed entertaining from start to finish and everytime you think vincenzo has gone soft in some way. he comes and shows his trueself and that he is vincenzo lol. that kiss in the last scene THOUGH AHHH ill miss this show a lot, seeing everyone beg to be killed easier was great to watch after all they did :/
Ive felt iffy the past 2 weeks as though i didnt quite get the writing, its a bit scattered i guess... the gold... babel... romance aspect...just a lot of different plot lines and sometimes i would even forget about the gold, and only be thinking about destroying babel.
EPISODE 16 made all of my doubts mean nothing. that was one of the best most hype endings dude...... i was legit just thinking hes gone soft from the mafia, and i didnt mind it, but its so fucking HYPE AAAAAA
the ending of todays episode didnt make any sense to me but it was still a great episode haha... the police were there and its so clear that he was either pushed or jumped??? vincenzo wasnt even near him lmfao. unless babel bribed the police... nonsense... i love this show though
can you lovely people let me know whether this is worth watching for the story? is it consistent? thank you!
I think its worth it, im a sucker for sort of "op" main characters.. theres a few flaws and sometiems i forget the story so i guess its semi inconsistent? I think its a great show but the story and the consistency of the writing doesnt seem like its strongest point. I woudl explain the reasoning but i dont want to spoil :(
i tried this when it came out and was upset that joon gi was the ml instead of the other guys but now after watcing flowers of evil, ive grown to really like joon gi, so im excited to really give this a chance after all the great things ive heard. :D
ill miss this show a lot, seeing everyone beg to be killed easier was great to watch after all they did :/
