right?! the whole touching his cheek after the kiss and being stunned is a typical scene for romance series so i couldn't agree more, there's really no defending this one about the queerbaiting unless they change the genre 🥲 that's why i'm also worried for sknn's career, they get enough hate as it is so with this kind of plot it will only increase tenfold. like you said they don't owe us anything and their chemistry is top tier for me even with a simple eye contact or a hug but they'd be so much more successful if they just sign for that bl. i don't see them as a bromance duo in a long lasting career tbh especially now that bls are getting better. no one will sit and keep getting edged by them for years (except their stable fandom) it will be hard for them to gain new fans in the future. many ppl always say skynani is just a kiss away of their series going from bromance to bl (honestly saintshin confessed to eo more than some actual couples) and if thats the only reason they dont want to do bl then we're back to square one of this convo: the whole paohan filming a bl series storyline, again, just questionable and weird 😭 almost bl instead of a real bl (with such a good director too) is indeed a choice 😩

LMAO this is so real like all the buildup just for them to end up as friends wouldn't make any sense. now that i think about it, maybe they thought "actors who are acting in bls are friends irl too, why don't we write about it" but the thing is they aren't known for bromances like skynani 😩 idk how they would handle the bl part too–if they just hug or kiss eo on the cheek the whole time it'd be funny again. unless they somehow always get interrupted or solve the case as undercover cops without having to finish the bl 😭 overall, this is really a mystery but we'll see how they will handle it at the end. they never used the word mithapaap (aka friendship) for this show so maybe things will change (though i doubt it) but if its really about friendship again then the whole concept of filming a bl series in a bromance is wild to me

omg you've mentioned the exact same things i was thinking about this 😭 i don't mind skynani doing bromance at all, as long as they keep working together and are comfortable. but this script is still so questionable 😩 i've put it on my watchlist bc i really enjoy skynani's acting and p'dome is a really good director but i still don't get the concept of 'them being cops who have to act in a bl but they actually don't get along offscreen and hate the idea' this type of plot only works if they actually catch feelings otherwise it can be risky and only fuel hate towards sknn. they could do the whole "everyone ships them but they only get along at the end as friends" without the whole bl stuff 😭

i just came to the comment section to praise santa's acting during the panic attack scene but then i continued watching and this time got amazed by perth's wonderful display of showing pobmek's emotional distress of feeling tired and guilty... this show is so good, i can't praise the acting, cinematography, ost and script enough. this will be a bl i will forever recommend

gitae deserved a worse death honestly. also romance wasn't really the focus here so not that it matters but i loved seah and geonwoo, they were so typical highschool teenage romcom before the curse happened. and it was so emotional how he could finally jump far through her advice to save her :,) hajoon's relationship with his brother-in-law was so wholesome! that was my favorite dynamic ngl
