the subs on ep 1 and 3 are delayed, like they don't line up to when the person is actually talking it was okay…

Where did you watch? I watched eps 1 and 2 from another platform then eps 3 and 4 on Netflix already but didn't have problems with the subs on both platforms.

No, the countdown shows the time for the TV airing. Sub releases a few minutes, if not immediately, after TV airing ends, I believe.
