The 2nd:
The River of Love ( Taher Pasha, a wealthy and powerful man, falls in love with Nawal and decides to marry her. Influenced by the money, her brother Mamdouh forces her to marry the Pasha. She accepts and marries Taher. After their marriage, Nawal's life turns into a miserable one, living lonely in the Pasha's house. She gets pregnant and gives birth to her only child. A young police officer named Khalid (Omar Sharif) falls in love with Nawal, who mutually shares the love.) it's a version of Anna Karenina ^.^

here we go...I'm lost between 3 movies I'd like to sub.
The 1st:
*Struggle in the Pier (The film takes place in a port in Alexandria and focuses on the lives of some sailors. Hamidah works in a ship and plans to marry her cousin, Ragab (Omar Sharif), but Ragab is forced to leave for a long period. While he was away, Hamidah falls in love with Mamdouh, a wealthy man. Ragab returns three years later to find her in a relationship with someone else.) I love it but it's somehow connected to the habits in Egyptian society...feel like ppl won't really understand what's going on :D

Well try those songs...he's really special, he writes, compose & sing them...some of his songs were sang by Sinatra, Dalida & other known singers...he also won the title of "Entertainer Of The 20th Century" that guy was discovered by Edith Piaf...I like her voice too, some of her songs are stuck in my head since my childhood...eg. La Vie En Rose, Milord & Padam Padam :)...
again for Aznavour I can recite at least 50 of his songs with French & English versions so I can give you a plenty of recommendations for his songs ;)

*you probably realize that "Aznavour" is my all time fav. singer...I tend to find his words touching & inspiring...I also love his song "She" it's not French but it's the best song to describe women ;)
