tried to watch this without reading anything, not knowing anything about the drama until the end of the EP2. That "Honey" scene be like, fml not gonna watch this kind of shit. Decided to continue watching and figured it wasn't real. He got me bad. Haha.
I personally didn't notice the music as painful. There was one scene in Ep.1 where "Never lost" was used at a…
I don't have problem with the songs being good or bad, like you said it's taste, but in a context of a drama, it's about how the overall sound and music vibe correctly, set the correct tone to the story, scene, color, cinematography, angle, pace, etc. On the first episode, my guess is they missed 80% of it which IMO is kinda bad and affect the whole watching experience. It paints the wrong picture. It gets a little better after, I've just finished ep3 and feels like I want to keep watching till end.
AoS is an example of drama that gets it 110% right. Both part 1 and 2. From ambience, to SFX to OSTs. everything is perfect. My Dearest being the most recent. That stupid piano line stuck in my head for months, well if you watch it you know what Im talking about. What a f masterpiece that one.
I do music for a living. So, cant really help with being a little to sensitive to sound/music.
Just finished ep 1. My honest thought is the drama judging from 1 ep, it could do A LOT BETTER with better director, art direction, editing, and music. Feels like a work of bunch of amateurs. The story and the lead actors are promising but just can't vibe with it. Sometimes if feels rushed, sometimes feels like there are plots deleted in between, bad continuity, etc. What the hell is this. Disappointing. Hopefully it gets better. Music first, that's the worst so far. We are spoiled by the good music of most of the drama this year, it went unnoticed but when it's bad, it's painful. Really thought the story has potential, just need better execution.
so the ML time traveled too or something ? He seems to know things in the future. I suspect he got killed as well after inheriting the company, maybe by a rival. If that's true, im excited to see how their story actually crossed path in that timeline and how he knew Ji Won was killed by the husband + So Min.
Not drama related but So Min reminds me of a character from my work place long ago. She slept with almost all her superior officers and stabbed every moving thing that got in her way. Managed to climb up the rank quicker than anyone I know. Recently I heard she's already some kind of advisor for a politician, a minister. Similar type of face with the actress in this drama that plays So Min. Have to admit she's pretty af. Kudos for the casting team for getting it right. Lol.
not quite satisfied with the ending. not like it's hanging or anything but should've been one more episode for how he got his new life back together or something.
Why do Koreans actors actress feel the need to apologize for everything as far as dating marriage, it’s like…
Obviously it's in the contract. Why would anyone, a millionaire apologize to the public for their own personal relationship that is none of nobody's business ? The film/drama isn't as bad as the music/kpop tho with hundreds of clauses, NDAs in the contracts regarding personal relationship that if become public is a clear human right violation. The whole industry is basically runs by thugs in suits. Everything is about money and one small f-up cost millions of dollars. Simplest, cheapest cost effective way to solve problems in Korean culture is to half admit you f-ups and apologize, give it few months, all is good. It works everytime.
can't tell if I like the Jo Ye Jin character because of her beauty, kindness or drinking habit. Lol. She's giving the early days my fav actress Kim Go Eun vibes for some reason, will start watching UTQU today since it's already Xmas here.
this drama is just different vibes and I love it. not everything has to be intense af, tension between ml & fl whatsoever. sapiosexual are human being too, not everyone can relate but this is exactly that. most of the jokes are high level straight face jokes that we rarely seen in kdrama. everything was done delicately, smooth and nice. it was a brave attempt by the team that made it, I appreciate it, enjoyed waiting for this drama for the past few weeks but mad af now that have to wait one week for the finale. usually it's just one day.
