You'll enjoy A Shop For Killer, also about Something In The Rain, although the story is like that, the casts did great, it's Son Ye Jin afterall. Can't comment much about Cdrama, I didnt watch any of them for now. I tried but couldnt vibe with it, it's the language, I used to watch HongKong film and drama so watching Mandarin stuff feels a bit weird.

Midnight Studio is light, funny + light horror rom com drama. It's alright but the storyline can feel repetitive at times, a bit dragging but the if you like romance, the interactions between the ml and fl is kinda okay and funny sometimes. I followed it so it didn't feel that boring watching it every week but I can't say the experience will be the same if you're binging it or maybe try to finish it as fast as you can. It is more suited for 1 or 2 ep per week kinda drama. I watch it because of Na Ra and I also like the supporting casts, some of my favs. They did great. Had a fairly good times.
Lovely Runner - Got nothing bad to say about it but it's more of a young adult kinda drama, full of energy and impulsiveness, lol. I think girls will like it. If you're looking for mature, more serious drama, this is not the one. It's a fun one, among the best in recent times, highly recommended. Please give it a try at least.
Frankly Speaking is a typical rom-com. It's so-so for now, nothing really exciting so far, I like Kang Han Na, so I'll watch everything that has her. Nothing much to highlight so far. Just being a drama for Wed/Thu slot for me for now.
Something In Rain is kinda painful and can be really annoying at the later stage, nothing to do with the casts, but I don't really fancy what they highlight in the story, it's the couple against the world too much, there are some good sweet memorable moments (of course tears all over) but the down part is kinda painful. It's not a bad drama at all IMO, but I just don't like the endless torture. Lol.
have you watched A Shop For Killer or Connect ? A Shop For Killer is a must watch. So good. It has unique vibes. Connect started good but I'm stuck at the middle for now. Dunno when I gonna finish it. There's this Unlock My Boss which not really highly rated, but it's a lot like Blood Free but without the dark, noir vibe, but lighter version of all the sci-fi and politics.
I'm still halfway through Goodbye Earth, but not sure if you are going to like it with everything surrounding the drama prior to the release.

hahaha, I was just kidding. Always love a consciousness transfer sci fi story. There's this western TV Series called "Travelers" 6 years ago and I really love it but got cancelled after 3 season. If you like those kind of thing, give that show a try.
I think their memories swapped? She spoke in the end but he was one who woke up. So she must be dead and they…
Yoon Ja Yoo's body destroyed, contaminated by the terrorist blood, it can't be saved, so they transferred her consciousness into Jang Yeong Sil database temporarily. So she's practically an AI for now. BF continues the research and create a synthetic body for her, season 2 is all about that journey of she finally transferred into Iron Lady and become Korean first super hero.
ML lives because it will be lame being that strong and died. His life however depends on the Disney+ budget for Season 2 which could be he'll play some minor role here and there because he's done his part and no point in following his love interest anymore since Yoon Ja Yoo is basically a cyborg now. He'll probably chill with Man Sik at retirement home.
I don't think there's anyone better than this guy playing a less significant spoiled child of rich chaebol in kdramaland. Others may be the true villain and fighting for the inheritance whatsoever but when the son doesn't really have anything to do and just f around with shit tons of money, you call this guy.
3 episodes in, it wasn't as bad as the ratings, kinda glad I watched it anyway. I understand where the low ratings coming from and I trust the convict next door more than I trust MDL's ratings.
It was the script and director who directed her to do what they want lol...it has nothing to do with her.
go rewatch the scene then think again. KJW half arsed that scene as if she just graduated from Hong Suzu School of Acting. Nothing to do with the script.
had trouble to connect for the few final episodes, the drama started so strong it hits the ceiling too early and understandably hard to maintain or go up from there. It's just I didnt expect it could fell off hard like this. I think for one of the best drama released this year the ending is too dry, no word to describe it, simply put, I kinda had to endure the final episode so I can complete the drama. Even an actress as great as Kim Ji Won managed to mess it up a bit (hospital bed scene, crying at unconscious ml after surgery) but doesn't really matter bcos she already won the award for the first 10eps.
I think the writer put too much effort into perfecting the storyline and she might have unintentionally spoiled almost everything along the way. It becomes too predictable now.
I have a lot of work, a lot of music to work on, deadlines, and prep for Monday, but here I am stuck listening to the 5 OST songs from the drama on repeat for no reason. I think that memory lost playing with cat in the rain scene has done something to me.
