It has little bits of comedy. I would suggest giving this drama a try...it's one of those dramas were it seems strange at first but then it grows on you.

One of the worst fathers (in a lakorn) I have ever known is in this lakorn. I don't get why it's ok for the father to marry a night club singer but when his son brings up the idea of marrying a Islander all hell breaks loose. The father is one big contradiction.

Lakorns are like that a lot but you have to look in the right places to find the really good lakorns. Personally I am not a huge lakorn fan for that very reason. There are a few lakorns though which don't degrade women in them. I would say stay away from:
1. Jam Loey Rak
2. Sawan Biang
3. Cubic
4. Sud Sai Pan
There are many more lakorns which you should probably stay away from but I'm just putting those down to lead you in the right direction.
I would suggest trying one of the lakorns I recommended above and see were your at with Thai dramas after that.

Agreed. I mean I like him but his character just feels waaaay too perfect. I guess I like it more when a character has flaws.
