Yoon Do is the best! I know he won't end up with Hye Jung, but you can't help cheering on his adorkable self~
He is arrogant and a coward, but his flaws make him a refreshing character. Not for everyone though, I do understand. I'm sure we'll get some backstory soon too. We've seen everyone's except his. xD.
I have to say this movie isn't for everyone, but it does clearly show how bad things were during Prince Yeon San's reign in the Joseon era. It's a grueling story, about fighting for survival when political unrest surrounds you. The explicit scenes give more imagery to the chaos which the people of the palace had to deal with at every waking breath. I do recommend this to people who are willing to see a unapologetic, real korean history.
I'm disappointed. I felt like I just wasted half of this year on this drama. Na Yeon did nothing right. As I had suspected when Baek Do Hee died. I so wish Baek Do Hee did the revenge. She could've been merciless and detached. She could've actually hurt some people! smh
The hardest part of this movie is knowing that the father really loves her and would do anything for her (even kidnapping). The ending was definitely bittersweet.
I like everyone in this show except Jia Ming and Jia Ming's Mom. The two of them drive me insane. Jia Ming is an actual stalker and does not know how to back off. Jia Ming's Mom is always uppity about whoever her sons are dating. I mean to the extent where I would consider it to be borderline crazy. Let the son's have their space for goodness sake!
Anyway, everything else is good and the main couple have a lot of chemistry. The way Jia Yang looks at Qiao Fei is pure love. It seems so real~
