Yep you must have a thing for rainy,dark, depressing places because your the first person I have heard of who LOVES Seattle! lol

Anyway I guess I also am a person who loves Seattle because I have lived here all my life. Born and raised as they say. I love the rain and all of the dark and cloudy weather..perfect for me huddling inside with a nice cup of tea.

Since I have lived here for so long I guess I don't see what others see...I mean you turn a corner and theres Starbucks...you turn another corner and there is Starbucks again. Starbucks is one of the only coffee shops in Seattle and that annoys me greatly.

Microsoft is ok...but they don't take very good care of their employees. My friend knew someone who worked there and they basically work them to the bone. It's terrible!
So cool place but I would not want to work their. They say one year at Microsoft feels like 10 years.

I know I heard that to....It would be to bad if it got canceled but I guess that' s life.

My all time favorite drama is either I hear your voice, Ugly Alert, or A innocent man...I really can't pick. It's to hard! lol

Ahhh yep I watched all of the first season of Pretty Little Liars and I read the first three books but then I just felt A went way out of control.

Yes! That was the cliff hanger!! They said in December that it would be 2 months before they brought the show back...but I'm not sure about that.

Agreed. I was a fan of X-Factor USA to but The Voice was the perfect replacement.

Downtown Abbey begins a little slow but within a few episodes it starts picking up pace.

I have a few american shows which I keep track of but to be honest I kinda just forgot about American TV in 2012.
I don't really binge watch American TV...but at the moment my fave American shows are:
-The Mindy Project (Which hopefully will come back for a 3rd season)
-Under The Gunn (Project Runway Spinoff)
-The Voice
It's a small list I know. What I really like to watch though are BBC series such as..
-Sherlock
-Downton Abbey
-Luther

That happens to me all the time. I finish a really good drama and then I just start struggling to find something as good as the last drama.

A few times after finishing really good dramas I started wondering "Is there anything good even out in dramaland anymore!" A few days later I just realized I was being melodramatic. I think maybe because of all the dramas I have watched being overly dramatic has become apart of my personality. lol.

Maybe everyone on MDL has become like that..because of all the drama. I really believe that if you watch enough drama you start believing that your life is a drama...or is it just me....

No I haven't. I tried watching it and for some reason I just stopped..I don't know why. lol.

Borrow Your Love was the drama I tried watching. Yes the girl just really can't act! lol

Classic melodramas...hmmmm

well one of my fave classic melodramas is called Bittersweet Life.

There also is:
-Lovers in Paris(Has a lead guy who is a jerk)
-Lovers(Has a lead guy who is a jerk again)
-Autumn in my Heart(Has one of my favorite 2nd lead guys of all time/who is a jerk)
-What happened in Bali (Crazy drama but I loved it for some reason)

Stairway to Heaven is like Makjang to a whole new level though. It did every cliche possible but you know what it was hard to stop watching. Almost every character in Stairway to Heaven probably deserve to be put in a psychiatric hospital. lol.

I would say go ahead and watch the drama if you want to see a lot of crazy people do acts of justice.

Yep SM does a pretty good job of misleading people...I saw the trailer for Mimi a few weeks ago and I thought "WOW...what is this? Wait is that Changmin! Only 4 episodes!! I'm in!" boy was I wrong.

That's how I felt also! I am a fan of Sonia Sui to and I liked the 2nd lead guy in this drama he was cool.

I found the cousin and husband annoying too...both of them just made me so upset when I watched the drama...later on I tried watching a drama with the cousin playing the lead in a different drama and I could not stand it.

Oh yep I loved the drama "The Pursuit of Happiness"...we really do have similar tastes!lol

Personally Stairway to Heaven was really a horrible drama to me. I mean in the drama the lead girl loses her memory and basically gets engaged to her half brother then her friend from when she was a kid comes and realizes its her and is like "You don't remember me?"

Oh and I see you have completed The Fierce Wife recently! That is one of my favorite T-dramas! What did you think of it?

Yeah I tried watching ep 2 of Mimi today and it just wasn't working....the plot is just bleh.

Agreed the only reason I will ever finish watching it is just to see Changmin...and I'm not even sure if his handsome face can help me hold on any longer..I just don't know.

So many airing dramas right now which just aren't living up to expectations...Beyond the Clouds AND now Mimi.

That happens for almost every historical drama I watch and your right there always is a tragic ending!
Oh yes I love Sagueks! Agreed those are the best types a dramas. You just named 2 of my top favorite dramas...Sungkyunkwan and Arang and the magistrate. There should be more dramas like those two....I like happy dramas also which are full of romance.

Yep 0 romance. It seemed kinda boring to me too! lol Thats why I am putting it on hold...I might check some of the comments while its airing to see if it will improve at all.

I know!! BOTC is a daebak drama!! I changed my avi to support the drama...but I really want to have the scene where he kisses her after giving her the unsweetened cake...I really want that as my avie but no one has uploaded it yet.

I agree entirely. I don't usually watch historical dramas also but for some reason because everyone was raving about Empress Ki I decided why not? Later on I found out that Empress Ki is a hard drama to get through...it's painful to watch all of these nice characters being turned into evil characters. I don't care what anybody else says about this drama (It may be addicting) but I certainly don't feel happy after watching it. I always end up feeling depressed.

Oh yes I love Kim Sun AH!!

I have only seen Miura Haruma in Last Cinderella..I'm not big on J-dramas but I know of him.

Agreed you can't tell everything about an actor from 1 drama or movie.

I'm watching In a good way, Bride of the century, and Emergency Couple. Those are the main ones.

I put Golden Rainbow on hold and I am kinda watching Can we love? (I skipped a few evil sunmi episodes)

I would say with Empress Ki you should look else where for the time being..because who knows it could turn sour and pull a "everybody dies" trick on us...the show has already tried killing of a few characters but hasn't succeeded yet. Remember I said yet because I have this weird feeling....that something is going to just kill a lot of main characters..but whatever I might be wrong.

I would say Let's Eat is sometimes entertaining and sometimes not. Its a hit or miss with that show.

No Beyond the Clouds has had 0 romance from ep 1 on to ep 6 unless you include the guy who was murdered. lol. Anyway I am going to wait for a few more episodes to see if it picks up the pace..if it doesn't I'm probably going to drop it.

This drama ...has got me hooked. I guess I'm hedging my bet by saying this will be my favorite show. I've only seen 4 episodes but it just feels like this is THE drama I have been waiting for.

Yep at the moment Bride of the Century is my favorite airing drama. I kinda am hegding my bet because I have only seen 4 episodes...but I have faith that this will be one of the best airing dramas very soon.
