Not going to go into the ending... though i didn't mind it... but for the first time ever, halfway through the last episode I realised I'd be happy however it ended up. As the journey had been so epic. I am normally all about everything all tied up in a pretty bow, but i genuinely think Id have rolled with any ending. Witchery!! So glad i came across this late and could glom it all in a couple of days. Loved the actors, the production, the humour.. ok, all of it.
The stylist or whatever who came up with that hairstyle should be shot. It was so terrible that I couldn't take the character seriously, just kept shaking my head at that hair, everytime he was on screen. I swear I'm not normally shallow, but that style is horrendous
I made it to ep25, then gave up. I liked the fluffy and funny dream stuff, but the business/revenge stuff was a bit meh for me. Kinda glad i gave up, watched the last 2 episodes and the last one was whacked. Don't get the point of why they did that, i would've had a meltdown if I'd still been invested when watching.
I'm reading a few comments on the cringy rom tropes and moments... but i kinda felt that they actually made a play of it, and threw everything they could think of in there, then played it out with lots of corn and relish. Almost spoof like if that makes sense? Well thats how i took it, and went along with the ride and had an absolute blast. I laughed soo much throughout this drama. And full hat off to the cast, I thought they were all brilliant.
I loved my only love song - it had a few imperfections but it was just so much fun! and seventeen was a great quick watch on breaks at work, i thought they did really well in such short episodes.
Or am I just watching the wrong kind?

It actually doesn't feel as dated as i thought it would be,
The heroine seems more modern than a lot of the current ones.
Even with the boys bad acting lol.
