Is this drama also enjoyable for adults aged 25+ years old? I can't help but get the feeling this is something…
Yes! I'm 25 and It doesn't seem childish or young at all. I thought it might be after watching the trailers before it started, but it's not like that at all. There are a few silly scenes, but nothing juvenile. So I agree with the other commenters here!
It'd be better to watch this after it's finished like other commenters have said, dangit! I'm so impatient for the reveal... every episode is so good. I wonder what bad thing happened that the preview is talking about..
This is so good!!!!!! I love the development (relationship and character) so MUCH. It's at a good pace. The cliffhanger... I'm flailing!!! I love characters like Chi Won (I hate jerks, but love ones like him... where he appears emotionless and cold but really isn't) and this is so good.. I can't describe my feelings on this. It's good.
I love the development at the end of episode 3 and the preview... it seems like their dynamic will shift and become more funny and remove some of the power imbalance and I love it, it looks really cute. :D
I did not like that ending at all. I would've preferred a time skip where they met a year later and then Joon confessed her feelings. It just came across as weird and forced how it happened. How he showed up on the plane... erm..
But yeah I definitely wasn't watching this for the romance, anyway. The main leads didn't have romance chemistry to me, I didn't see it at all...
But I'm so glad it's a common opinion that the best part of the drama was Jae Hoon. If it wasn't for him, I would've rated the drama so much lower. But I got such happiness and excitement when he was on screen, I have to account for that in my rating.
His character was so well written. How he was from the start, to how he ended up, there was a lot of character development and it was so good! He did end up working at the same company, but he made the choice freely, and he's now happy and smiling more and it makes my heart happy. His character depth and how the actor portrayed him... aaaaaaaaah....
Also another great thing about the drama that added to my rating was Hyuk and Jae Hoon's friendship. It was so well written too, their banter was funny and enthralling, and the development from where they were at the start to Jae Hoon admitting he should've called Hyuk his friend from the start... but even so, Hyuk thought of Jae Hoon as his friend even while Jae Hoon had a grudge against him. He cared about Jae Hoon the whole time. It was really sweet. :D They didn't even fight over Joon. Just in the banter way, and that scene was really funny. I usually scoff when people say this, but in this case an OT3 would definitely have worked out, aha.
There were things I didn't like about the drama or that bored me, but the stuff I liked made up for it a lot. I'm glad I watched this!
I don't have any words as to how I feel after this right now, but I have to at least say this feels like the easiest 10/10 I've given to a drama as of yet. I'm... blown away.
Really though, I could hardly breathe these last two episodes. They bumped my score up to 9.5. At the beginning, I was unsure about it, and I wasn't that interested in parts of this, but the last few episodes have been absolutely enthralling. What a surprise drama for me! I haven't seen that many dramas yet, but Jae Hoon is a stand out brilliant character for me and I keep falling for him more and more too. My score is mainly because of him too!
I'm not sure what I'll end up rating this. I really like it.. but there are parts I don't.
But I do know that I'm going to rate it one or two whole levels higher because of Jae Hoon's character. He's so good. It's the writing, the actor, both together, but he's such a good character and I feel so much for him.
Maybe it's just me but I don't really feel the chemistry between Joon and Hyuk.I also feel so damn bad for Jae…
I feel the same way. Since the beginning and until now, I don't see the chemistry there at all.
And I completely agree with you about Jae Hoon. It's not that I particularly think he has chemistry with Joon either... (I don't ship it) but I just feel so so so much for him. His feelings for Joon, his position in the company, his friendship with Hyuk vs his job and how troubled he's always been because of him... the short clip we saw about his father, his personality. He's definitely misunderstood. He's such a good person... he's just such a complex character and my heart literally aches for him every time he's on screen. T_T I want him to be happy...
