not Queen In Hyun's Man >.< The lead may be ditzy but she is not stupid. Her stubbornness to believe that Kim Boong Do was real despite all evidence pointing to the contrary makes her quite sharp. Even the way she realizes her manager was deceiving her and how she was able to chase him down before he left shows adeptness. She did cry a lot but she was also quick on her feet when it came to getting out of sticky situations. She was decisive and didn't wait around for him to make the first move. I think all the different ways she gets a kiss out of him are artfully clever. He's perfect and the fact that she recognizes how special he is early on and doesn't go back to her ex shows quite a bit of intelligence on her part.
My favs:
- Cha Seung Jo (Park Shi Hoo) - Cheongdamdong Alice <3 (loved him!! hated the female lead)
- Cha Chi Soo (Jung Il Woo) - FBRS
- Scheduler (Jung Il Woo) - 49 days
- Dokko Jin (Cha Seung Won) - The Greatest Love
- Qin Zi Qi (Chiu Roy) - Office Girls
- Goo Yong Ha (Song Joong Ki) - SKKS
- Wol Ryung (Choi Jin Hyuk) - Gu Family Book
- Prince Yang Myung (Jung Il Woo) - The Moon that Embraces the Sun
ok I'm obviously partial to Jung Il Woo, what can I say, he picks good roles :)
You're a little taken with Lee Min Ho, aren't you? Not just the number of almost-kisses you listed, but the descriptions…
I totally agree, even in the finale when they finally found each other years later, they just looked at each other and smiled. Not good enough! She should've ran into his arms, kissed him, given him another flower, something more! That script needed a romantic face-lift.
I just finished watching Queen in Hyun's Man, I do consider kissing a talent therefore Ji Hyun Woo = #1 :D >.<
there are a lot of multi-talented artists out there, nice article!
tachibana and sakura in last cinderella. they were so perfect for each other! loved their chemistry >.<
mizuki and nakatsu in hana kimi :)
yeon woo and prince yang myung in the moon that embraces the sun. the fact that they didn't end up together was so tragic!
I love your article! story of my life, those are the same reasons I watched faith and big! except it wasn't particularly lee min ho's hands that drew me in, that was funny to read. <3 gong yoo :) they're also the reasons why I attempted to watch playful kiss, but alas my will was not strong enough >.<
innocent man, I wanted to see it post-SKKS, at the end of it I couldn't understand why my brain let me sit through it
but the worst brain disassociation I experienced was with the last drama I saw - dream high 2 =_= it was so bad but I loved dream high so I was waiting for guest appearances or references to the first season or for them to somehow surprise me with a twist that made it all better but it was so bad from the beginning to the end and all the characters were so bad and the music was bad and the end was bad it was bad bad bad badbabadadbad. bad.
I loved the anime/manga. the taiwanese version is the best! it's hilarious! it boasts great actors, chemistry, and a well-written script. I saw the first season, not the second one yet. playful kiss was... painful. and as far as I can remember, there were no unicorns or magical forests in the original...
I also really liked the Wol Ryung couple from Gu Family Book!
