Daughter is 29 .. so although mother can't be 40, she could be 45. I don't understand why they put the age of the Daughter but not the Mother. I guess they were playing up how young the Mother is.. but just saying she is in her 40's means that she could be 49 which is a perfectly adequate age to have a child--actually a healthy age for a first child.
