I feel the same way about it, especially since I hated BOF and personal taste, don't like LMH in these roles, and when it comes to high school dramas for some reason I love the Japanese ones and hate the Korean ones, even though in every other genre is the other way around. I think, too, that this is a step backward for him, but he is trying to get to the top in terms of popularity (you can tell by how he nurtures his fans through social media and events) and Faith only had a lukewarm reception. I loved him as Choi Young, but even I, total Faith lover, can see that the series was uneven and it took its toll on the audience's response. He's probably decided to do this to hike back up popularity-wise. Oh well, let's give it a shot and see what happens. You never know.

Panda is complicated. You could call it dull. For me, you have to pick it at the right time. I saw it following a bunch of melos and sageuks, during a very stressful period, when I needed something restful, quiet, where people were essentially good and loving and cute. It is a sweet drama where nothing much happens at all, other than people taking care of each other and baking cakes. So it can be a good detox if you're sick of overdone dramas full of ridiculous twists and evil characters and your own life is a stressful mess. But you have to catch it really at a time like that. Otherwise, you may be bored to death.

I'm with you on the Choi Jin Hyuk. He was glorious in Gu. I hope they give him a character that lets him show all his potential (he was very cute in Panda, but his character was so dull compared to what he can really do).

I hated BBF, probably because I'm a huge fan of HanaDan, and do not particularly like Gossip Girl, so I am afraid I won't be liking this one (they advertise it as a hybrid of those two). But I so LOVED LMH in City Hunter and Faith, and Choi Jin Hyuk in Gu Family Book, that I guess I'm going to have to watch it no matter what. Looking forward to see what the show has to offer!!!
