It's a pity this drama is so short, but somehow I feel it's better than longer or more budgeted ones? As in... I know the plot gets too fast to the point and maybe some scenes are "missing" (could be added to improve it), but not a lot, and certainly nothing is spurious... And I can't say the same in other dramas. Idk, let's wait for the rest of the episodes.
Oddly, (20-something years old) life is well represented in this series. Friendship, little hardships, love and heartbreaks, inflection points and... goodbyes. And some of them... are just sudden and with no explanation. And you only get the hope of a casual or random reunion in a future that may or may not ever come. The last episodes made me find joy in the silly things that happened on first ones. This drama unexpectedly hit me hard, don't mind me.
Can anyone explain how Aoki started talking about his type with the student teacher? I am confused how they segwayed…
Okano said that his girlfriend helped him get the determination to study harder, and so Aoki tells him he's the same, then Okano gets curious and as he seems to be very nosy and a busybody, he starts asking him about that. I think in the manga is basically the same, can't remember.
I don't wanna spam my comment with emojis, but how much i laughed omg ππThe bathtub!! Shishio's little reaction…
Poor, poor Shishio, feeling he's not normal... I hope at least having Izumi as a friend/supporter helps him turn that page. Although... poor Izumi too, not lucky with the men she likes. I want them both to have their own happy endings!
omg this episode.. we really needed a warning for that rooftop scene. & that unexpected kiss.. #BadBuddySeriesEP5
Even after what was mentioned in Safe House, I wasn't expecting neither the kiss, nor Pran leaving while crying because he prob thinks that there's no use because of their parents blablabla.
And the falling in love bet? I need to wait till ep6 is out but, from the preview, I wasn't expecting it was going to be that way either.
I feel that it most likely will end in this episode. The plot and story is already moving ahead into Pat and Pran's…
And I suppose it's also a metaphor of the violence of their parents' relationship that destroyed their friendship (or whatever they could have had) and rebuiding that pavilion could mean for them the realisation that they can build whatever they want to have even if others destroyed it. Their gangs' violence is annoying, but their parents' is worse, and both are needed for the symbolism, I think.
