Damn I had a crazy theory for the twist in the last two episode and I was dead wrong! Now I just wanna say forget the twist, the main problem of this drama is that it's one episode too long lol It should've just ended with episode 11, some of the most unnecessary plotlines I've ever seen being injected into a drama is packed in ep 12!
In an interview YYS said that Sangwoo was not the culprit. The question and answer start at about 2:40https://youtu.be/mdHy5rI_-bM?si=4GntOxu7RtGGXbn0
I mean it's not about being devious or not! it's just basic show business, they're not gonna reveal a major twist!
Again that's true! I might be overthinking it but he seemed to be in that mansion alone when sangwoo would go to play with him so if the killing started from there they could've mistook it as his. and let's face it even if he's not the killer he surely is weird.
Again that's not really that much of a diabolical thing to do for someone who was raised by a fisherman lol
He does give a creepy vibe right? At the very least there's a possibility thaat he may have helped to lure kids…
Yeah exactly I just can't believe he's completely innocent, and tbh he is a much more interesting and complex character for the main antagonist!
Oh that's a very good theory for how they could've been introduced or how he got involved in such an old case again, he could've been reminded by the real SE commenting on his vlog after the grandpa died a year ago.
Idk about teary eyed, I mean it's kinda hard to tell with this guy lol And for me it's the small things like that! not remembering the twins! remember very specific details about the kids (I mean who even does remember these things), and I gotta be honest when he told told yuri 'thank you for remembering my friends with me' I got a very diabolical vibe from him. and I mean he is always present in every suspicious event, the one that made me think he's not the culprit was him saving the ML but if he's the culprit but is not the real SE it actually makes sense to save them.
But you're right it could all go much simpler than that and is quite possible that we're overthinking it.
What a good plot twist if that is true. I have always believed that Sangwoo was involved. Why all of sudden this…
Yeah exactly! to me it seems more like getting to enjoy the thrill of remembering, or maybe he's trying to get rid of loose ends by pinning everything on SaEon by having him publicly exposed as the culprit or some other sick reason!
Idk if he knew about Won Bin or not, or if he arranged his meeting with the real SaEon. it's very possible, hopefully they answer everything the last 2 eps!
The real Sa Eon isn't a psychopath? Care to elaborate on that one? 🤔
I think you are, but it's interesting because I think he can actually fall under the category of a sociopath!
And regarding the killing small animals I agree, but looking back the only scene we've actually seen of that is when described by sangwoo! you see him around heejoo's little brother as he cries but the reason as to why he's crying isn't said or shown, and the grandpa says it started from small animals and turned into small kids (or sth like that) which suggest the whole thing could've happened in the mansion near the orphanage! And another thing is that even as an adult he seems quite suggestive and unable to communicate with others properly, so I think as a kid he could've easily been manipulated by sangwoo and misunderstood by his family.

Too much emotions, a lack of calmness, too agitated all the time, the interactions between him and his mom was kinda telling, and look at his interaction when he's talking to the ML and describes why he wants to make him suffer in ep 10! most of his actions seems driven by some kind of emotion.
On the other hand just look at sangwoo's general vibe through the series and how he remembered such details about the kids! that does not look like childhood memories to me, that's more like remembering your first kills lol
I'm calling it right here and now! the one who actually killed the missing kids is not the real Baek Sa Eon, but it's actually sangwoo!
I've seen up to the end of episode 10 and it's clearly obvious the real Sa Eon is not a psychopath, I think sangwoo actually used him to cover up his murders.
lol because you can't do anything to fl act like american women that is the reason you hate su rong qing because…
Oh c'on man... I don't think neither me nor anyone else disliked the sml in Story of Kunning Palace and that fl was much more western style lol
And believe me I love western tv series way before I started watching a c-drama, I mean I loved Lagertha in Vikings and that girl was doing everybody lmao
But obviously this is a c-drama and I probably rather for it be the same good old china style ig 😅
Wow... I never bother with commenting let alone leaving a hate comment for a damn character but this Su Rong Qing guy has got to be one of the most dislikable characters I've ever seen! but then again gotta give credit to the actor i guess because from the first moment I saw him I kinda hated him... and ffs whenever he smiles (supposedly innocently and for love) some say its cute but I find it absolutely annoying and just wanna reach my hands in the screen beat the life out of him lol
I know that's probably not right but I can't help it... I think his expressions just annoys me even if plot wise he were to be the nicest and most moral guy lmao
