I wish this wasn’t framed as a love triangle because it hardly delivered on that account, it’s literally unrequited love and should’ve been marketed as that tbh! Like I was a Mr.Han stan since day one and it felt like I was just waiting for crumbs of interaction between the two and it really soured my enjoyment of this drama. Why did they give Mr.Han such a good characterization for a second lead? Was the punchline always that he had no chance...? I feel less sympathic to NDS wiles because at the end of the day it didn’t matter what he did or didn’t do, and the storyline always favoured him! His own personal struggles and him being recognized for his talent was well done! But the fact that they leaned into typical trope lines and predictable situations to bring the two together really reduced the quality of this show. Today’s episode was really disappointing.
