Something I keep thinking about is how in a world of revenge plots, getting people back, and normalizing hatred, this show highlighted the themes of forgiveness and not letting such an unimaginable hardship take control of your life. Forgiveness and moving on will always be the ultimate comeback.
I’m on episode 5 and I ALMOST gave up on episode 3. Something about the first three episodes is very off... The plot doesn’t make sense, no character motivations make sense, and the story is going nowhere.
BUT if you push past those three the next two have been some of the greatest episodes of a drama I’ve ever seen! Makes me think the first three episodes were filmed under different circumstances or with a different director, because they’re borderline unwatchable. I hope people will not give up a few episodes in like I almost did.
Hey are there any Christians who are watching this? I'm nervous to give it a shot if it's too demonic or spiritually accurate. If there are any Christians here, let me know your thoughts!
Question - Is While You Were Sleeping as well written and engaging as Start Up and this are? Because this is probably going at the top of my all time favs list next to Start Up. Is Park Hye Ryun (the screenwriter) just that good?
