Regarding second male lead, I thought his ep 9 confession was good because he acknowledged it’s a one-sided love and he’s okay with loving her on his own and not expecting anything from her. 👍🏻
The moment I got vibes that Haeyi won’t end up with Jungwoo was when she was super playful in that episode when he asked her to go out with him. Even at the cafe she was anticipating him confessing but it felt very childish and crush-like and lighthearted. I don’t think her feelings for him are necessarily serious or stronger than a crush and I’m wondering what direction the writers will take, especially considering how much they have built up Sunho as a character with a backstory that Jungwoo doesn’t even have. It’s one thing to give a second lead a backstory arc and a lot of screentime with the female lead, but it’s a different thing when the main lead doesn’t even have that.
I really don’t know what to expect. I think the writers will surprise all of us in the next 7 episodes… We’ll see!

Yes Inhyuk as an actor is very popular I agree. A lot of the reason is because of his role in Under the Queen’s Umbrella, which has very high ratings and buzz.

To be honest actually most of the comments from knetz about the show are Sunho fans. I would say Sunho as a character is more popular from what I’ve read on Korean blogs and comments about the show, but people still love Inhyuk of course. He’s a great actor!

She may like Jungwoo for now but is always left confused and sad by him not communicating with her. When stuff like this happens, it’s natural to lose feelings and move on and I know Sunho will be waiting for her with open arms and a box of tissues once she’s had enough of the emotional stress with Jungwoo.

One reason is because he is basically being treated like the male lead. Especially in recent episodes. He does not shy away from his feelings and is persistent while Jungwoo can’t even get a proper sentence out to Haeyi. There’s a very stark confidence difference. Haeyi may have rejected him early on but obviously likes being around him and there’s still time for her to fall for him which is what most of us Sunho fans are hoping for. 🙏🏻 I’m just speaking for 2ML fans, not trying to start any conflict.
