You're just proving my point though. If you appreciated the characters in this show, you would see how much each of them have grown from the beginning. They are all so much more confident and mature now from when they were young.
I surprised reading the reviews. So many bad reviews and i didn't expect that.
It's a really amazing drama, but a lot of people got caught up in hating all of the characters that they rated it really low. People wanted certain things to happen that didn't, and now they're acting childish about it unfortunately.
I think people should stop calling HJP stan childish, immature , etc. We were attach to the character too much.…
You've become so blinded by your hate that you don't see how happy Jipyeong is at the end of this show. He has a purpose now and is seriously so excited about this new company that he's investing in.
What I've come to understand is that you hate this show and its characters so much, that you haven't realized that you've come to hate who Jipyeong is now in the process. He's happy now, so why aren't you if you actually love him?
WOW I am out of the loop. This drama was by far the most highly rated one for the last like month or so and I…
Don't write this one off! Wait for the initial hate reviews to die down, and you will see how well-loved this drama was. I see Weightlifting Fairy is one of your favorite dramas and it is also one of mine. If you loved Weightlifting, I think you will really love this show and the characters as well. Don't let the hate get to you!
After coming here I realised I'm one of the few people who actually liked this drama. Glad I decided to not look…
The comment section has become a very hate-filled place. I'm glad you were able to enjoy the drama on your own. It seems many people who watched the drama enjoyed it if they were not looking at the toxic comments from some of these people.
I really loved these characters! If you love the characters as well, that finale was AMAZING! What a heartwarming story. I cried through the whole last episode.
I love that Dosan has so much confidence in himself now and is always by Dalmi's side to help her dreams come true.
I love that Dalmi has grown into a mature character who has learned from her mistakes and is running the company so well and that she has found true love.
I love that Jipyeong has found a purpose now, and is so excited to help out this start-up company that focuses on orphans, a mission very dear to his heart.
I love that Yongsan has apologized to the people he felt he's wronged and has so much love for his friends and coworkers.
I love that Chulsan is still such a goofball and that he got the girl.
I love that Saha has found someone that she truly loves and is comfortable around.
I love that Injae came back to her family and reunited with Halmeoni and how she respects Dalmi so much now and has made a name for herself apart from her father.
I love that Halmeoni has purpose with her new company and that she was able to thank Dosan for Noongil and comfort Jipyeong and help him regain his confidence.
I love these characters, and I know I'll keep coming back to this beautiful drama as the years go on. Thank you Start-Up for being such an amazing and heartwarming show! Thank you Park Hyerun for creating my favorite characters in a show!
If you are asked to choose your favourite kdrama all time only 1,which kdrama do you choose?only 1
It's actually Start-Up for me! Before that it was It's Okay to Not Be Okay, but this one I really really love. I recommend it to everyone I know and some people have started watching it and enjoy it. There's something in it for everyone I think!
The bias here...This is so freaking funny! Pack it up HJP worshipper.
It’s a little worrisome how much they hate every single thing Dosan does. They seriously need to shut the show off and find one where everything works out exactly how they want for their favorite character.
Maybe a cartoon kids show would be a good idea? They can’t seem to handle reality.

Leaving out HJP from the date? Are you insane? Why would he invite HJP to a date he had set up with Dalmi? HJP was crossing the line asking to stay at their house the night before when he wasn’t even invited. It was territorial and toxic.
Practically your whole list is stuff just written the way you see it because you don’t like Dosan. HJP stans are going to love this list though. The thing is if I were to write a list with biased wording the way you did, HJP would have way more. So it’s literally just bias.
don't leave salty comments like its not worth writing about dosan here because of all the toxicity. There is nothing…
I think one of the main problems is this comment section has become way too personal. A lot of people on here really personally hate Dosan, which is what's making it toxic. It's not just critiquing a character you dislike at this point. A lot of the posts now are pretty personal attacks on Dosan.
We say what's true but you seem to have problems because we are pointing flaws in your favourite character.
"What's true" has become whatever all of you agree on. Everything you say is not true. A lot of it is just personal opinion that has been amplified by all the like-minded people in this comment section.
I'm curious. I don't see how HE is the toxic one, enlighten me.
"Whereas Dosan is a very problematic character and yet he's shown almost zero growth as a character."
Yet another generalization about Dosan saying he's showed zero growth. The reason you're able to say this on here is because there is a lot of people that agree since this comment section is a bubble of Jipyeong enthusiasts.
I would argue Dosan has showed the most growth over the course of the show and come into his own more than any other character. He went from being too timid to stand up for himself to owning up to the lies that he's been spun in and resorting to honesty over deception. A lot of Dosan fans would say this, in fact. So there's two sides to every situation and to make this kind of generalization is what's wrong with this comment section, because you can say whatever you want and have people agreeing and shut down anyone who tries to say otherwise.

I'm not really sure what parallels you're trying to draw here, but if you're referring to Jipyeong coming and telling them to cancel the deal last minute and how they should have listened so that they weren't let go, think of it this way.
Jipyeong has spent the entire time belittling Samsan Tech and responding negatively to all of their ideas up to this point. So when he comes in last minute belittling this idea as well, it's kind of like the boy who cried wolf. They didn't believe him because he's been doing this the entire time they've been at Sandbox.
He should have been there earlier instead of throwing a fit and staying away when they needed him the most. That way he could have talked Dalmi through what the deal meant, since he has only talked respectfully to her up to this point, not the rest of Samsan Tech.
Agree about the most toxic comment section on mdl, but don't fall for the provocation) HJP/KSH fans live in their…
I haven’t been on here for a week but wow it’s gotten so much worse than it was before the levels they go to to attack the show and characters because their favorite isn’t getting everything they want him to.
