Yeah, I hear you. A lot of that has to do with the culture though and how they want to see woman portrayed on tv. That's why as a guys it's still hard for me to find that perfect combo of looks and talent. That's why I appreciate Han Ji Min's role in Padam. Men have more diversity and realistic role choices over there. I feel like for women they are either the frail damsel, virtuous tomboy, or stuck up biotch as if they aren't layered human beings, smh. I have 3 older sisters so I'm a feminist much of the time

lol, of course not. It's ok to differ on some things. What do you think of Song Hye Kyo and Jung Eun Ji. I'm really just trying to find out who you consider a fine leading lady? I've pretty much named everyone I'd consider

Idk it's kind of weird b/c when other actresses play that doughy eyed character, i find it rather childish and annoying. Even when Lee Min Jung did it in "Big" but for some reason, I liked it when she did it. I just saw it for what it was and enjoyed the laughs

haaa, I love the innocent, virtuous, wide-eyed look. She was cute and funny in "Mary Stayed out all night", troubled, pained and serious in "Cinderella's Sister". Along with "innocent Steps" and "Goddess of Fire" I find her a striking actress and I love her eyes and voice. But when I watch shows like Mary stayed out, I kind of expect a degree of traditional korean, silly archetypes so I understood that she was playing a slapstick role, and she played it well, lol

lol, yeah I just looked her up and of the shows I've seen her in, she hasn't made an impression b/c she doesn't look familiar. But I did forget to put Moon Geun Young on the list. I love her!

No it's not the main lead who dies. My eye candies are Han Ga In, Han Ji Min, Lee Min Jung, Suzy, Eugene, Park Shin Hye, Yoona, and Son Tae Yeoung!

I'll say it ends moderately tragically, it just depends on who you're rooting for. The helpless female was the only irritating part of the whole drama. It's definitely has eye candy for ladies though, I was crazy jealous of all the ab shots in EVER SINGLE EPISODE, lol.

That's so true, but I'm still a fan. Actors like him excite me, b/c depending on the role they become a different person. But as far as Jang Hyuk fliks "Maybe" was good, but kind of an abstract almost documentary style film (I dug it, but you have to be prepared for a non typical movie format), "Flu" just came out and I'm excited to see it,I've heard great things. Most of the really good things I've seen him in though were drama's like Midas, and Chuno (aka Slave Hunters)<<Highly recommend Slave Hunters!

Its boring, because they are trying to throw a lot of information at you instead of naturally building off of Iris 1, which I liked. It's contrasted though with a unique character for Jang Hyuk that I haven't seen him play. Normally he's either the extreme marginalized tough guy, or the virtuous romantic, or both. In this he's more of a realistic tough guy who cares about his woman. But yeah, I was expecting something to happen in Iris 1 but not that, I didn't know how I felt about the ending, I was just shocked.

I completely agree, I plan on trying to finish Iris 2 but its a struggle so far, Monstar, and Who Are You. Who are You is pretty good so far so I'd recommend that one. Jang Hyuk is acting well but I don't think Iris 2 should have been a sequel I'm on ep 3 and the only thing that's keeping me going is curiosity of who is pulling the strings, but it might get dropped

I actually liked Love Rain, but I would def have liked a movie version instead of the two weeks it took to watch that drama. Padam Padam was the only romance drama where I didn't feel like anything dragged

Title IRIS 2
Need some feedback, when I found out there was a part 2 and Jang Hyuk was in it, I was ecstatic. But ep 1 is slow as a beast, please tell me it picks back up or this will be another drop?

Chuno, wouldn't have been as great as it was without Jang Hyuk. "That winter the wind blows" was good but Won Bin would have made it amazing. I love Moon Geun Young in everything but I think its true that the role wasn't strong enough

idk, it's like a Korean Mary Poppins on crack. I liked it though, but She so focused on teaching them life lessons that she abuses and bullies her students. As a teacher I have violent thought toward her, but there are few times where I approve. And who can argue with results.

I like more human stories and action than romances but if its genuine good drama, then I love it.Yeah, I watch drama's with my fave actors too, but a lot of my fave Korean actors choose good work, lol. I'll def give "Lovers" a try, it aired on my b-day so it must be good.

I like your taste in drama's. A lot of the time people forget about good art and just put popular actors/actresses in
jkdramaniac Aug 5, 2013
I'm glad the missing you kiss made the list, that to me was the most realistic out of all the "accidental kisses" I've seen. Plus both of those kids have been awesome in everything I've seen them in
On Goddess of Marriage Aug 4, 2013
Most of the cast are people that I've liked in other drama's but I have yet to hear a good recommendation. Guess I'll wait a bit longer

Happy Birthday. I'm loving Bravo My Life/Ugly Alert. Hope your character doesn't turn evil !!!
Wow, I had no idea those were the same drama. I had been searching for Bravo My life like crazy today, smh
