Dropped after episode 10. I tried, I really did but the ML was so unbelievably cruel to the FL that there was nothing he could do in my eyes to redeem himself and be worthy of a romance with her. My heart broke with every public humiliation and disgusting insult
It was good at first, but it seems they had a different ending in place and rushed to ret-con it. The ending did not match the progress and it had such an unsatisfying finale
I love the parents backstories, it's like mini romance dramas that make me squeal and kick my feet mixed in with the action! Just like the action novels ahhhhh!
I dunno why but I have a theory that the SML is the FL's brother. The mum who died young, moving close to her and asking to be friends. I think he might have a power himself. Also, does anyone else think either the manager or the shaman is the killer? They were the ones to see her last and they wouldn't show them for no reason.
I have to say I'm liking the continuity with this show. I've noticed in some dramas people get attacked or injured and they come out with no marks and perfect hair/makeup. I'm glad she had marks around her neck and messy hair when eating. I know it's a weird thing to focus on but it's always annoyed me :D
I bet that's such a misleading comment from her, I bet she means done with king hotel and that she wants to work for the other place. I bet the next episode will start with him misunderstanding, a funny moment and her clearing it up. Just last the beginning of this episode. (Or at least I hope :D)
the FL was so funny in this, when she said she was gonna kick him to the moon I burst out laughing. Definitely gonna watch more stuff with her in it. I dunno why, the ML was cuter when he was bigger!
I loved this drama. As someone who reacts to things the same way as the FL due to my own childhood I empathised with her straight away and went along that journey with her, tears and all! There is definitely chemistry, I don't know what people aren't seeing. Chemistry is a big thing for me when watching shows and it's there, it's subtle and it builds but it's there. These are two very depressed and emotionally repressed people, they're not gonna be lovey-dovey like you see in other dramas but they care a lot for each other and it shows in their small actions and words. I didn't care for the SLs, I've watched this show 3 times and I just can't get into the rhythm of their storyline. It feels so disjointed and I just didn't see how their triangle made sense. I am glad they hired an actor with an actual north american accent to play the canadian uncle. :D
