Is it as good as the US version?

So me, the avid thaidrama avoider wants to give this a chance and then they have to go and do a really cringy rapelike sequence where the sleeping MC is kissed and licked without consent like what the actual f*ck people, why?! Come one, isnt there one decent BL drama without the idiotic tropes?

Ah why do they feed us Jason Xu in this as the absolute dream of a man (hot, brave, can cook, gentle, collected, did i mention hot?) only for this to be his last drama role T_T

I might be spoiled for any other drama, chinese or otherwise, forever. I have no words to describe this perfection

I dunno if i should finish this, i only watched ep 1 and it bothered me how "Mike" was portayed as the fat dumb gay gaijin. Or at least it really seemed to me like it, almost as if he was mentally impaired, you know.... Didnt like that at all. I read the manga and it didnt seem like this...
