okay people complaining about it being slow paced, bro its slow burn what do you expect also the series is literally called "step by step" let pat and jeng atleast become comfortable around each other and lose the boss-intern dynamic. For now, jeng is the only one trying and he's quite the introvert of course it will take some time. Jeng is learning to actually work on his social skills and improve for his partner (exhibit a: shrimp donut) and pat is learning to be more assertive and confident (when he refused kong to join the mlm industry).

I have not seen the og but this felt VERY queer, ngl like the cat, getting confused over a dude and then neither of them choosing the dude, also wanting to raise a kid together (ik that wasn't that explicit, but they would've raised the kid together) And the biggest one, one if them completing the other's artwork. I'd marry such a friend.
