it's so funny to me when people go through wild lengths to defend their dramas as if people are offending their offspring by pointing out lazy writing 💀 like chill dude it's nor personal, we're enjoying it too but we can both enjoy it and admit there are plot holes in it ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
i wasn't expecting them to get together so "fast" (by drama standards lol) but things are actually moving along quite fast and nicely in the other areas of the drama as well so yay!
the only downside of this show is the assistant scenes lol i know that subplot is why the FL is back to jeju but i don't think anyone cares about the assistant's evil plotting ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ i wish they'd just dropped that arc. i know they won't and understand why, but i still wish they would lmao
with how they'd showed sangdo in ep2 i thought he'd be an asshole type of character, but i'm SO happy to be surprised! in ep3 we get to see him being a good friend, even if maybe one that has a raging crush on samdal. really digging the friendship dynamics a lot!
I was wondering if Jeju is really that much cheaper than living in Seoul? It's a vacation/seaside spot for Koreans,…
also most koreans go to thailand and japan for longer vacation, jeju is more the weekend or long weekend spot. korea is a really small country and most of southeast asia is really cheap in comparison, so most people fly out when they have more than 3 or 4 days off.

it's A LOT cheaper than seoul. a tiny one-room in central seoul would be around 1.5k USD, and a decent one-room in central jeju (not in the area of this drama, but the city) would be around 500USD. but honestly just the food difference in $ you can't compare. seoul is crazy expensive and jeju is really affordable even for tourism. i live in busan and i think jeju's cheaper than busan even -- which is already muuuuch cheaper than seoul.
