No, the concept is very different and much more focused on the gaming and friendship. There is no romance plot line at all. With all that being said, I would still highly recommend this drama. The characters are all very lovable and the bond they form is really great.

The concept is very different from go go squid. I would recommend it if you are looking for a gaming/friendship drama but would not recommend if you are looking for something cute and romantic like go go squid.

Well that was an emotional roller coaster, just stayed up till 4am to finish this drama and honestly I’m quite satisfied, I haven’t watched a drama I felt so emotionally attached to in so long. The chemistry between the characters is really there and as much as I hated Meng Yao, I couldn’t help but feeling bad for him at the end. I hope we see more dramas like this soon where eye candy and acting is all top notch hehe!
