Unfortunately good script is a rare animal in C-dramaland as ZZH also mentioned that WOH script is one of the best he encountered in his career so far. Sponsors are also often just interested in making quick profit, therefore there is always demand for popular traffic actors (who sometimes can't act) just because their massive fan base will guarantee audience for the drama. That's why I'm so grateful for WOH, hopefully they have raised the bar not only for BL story but also drama in general.

WOH has taught us that sometimes you don't need big budget or popular actors to make a good and memorable show, most important thing is to love and respect the story and characters and the audience will definitely feel it. Thanks WOH for reminding us again, especially when C-dramaland is littered with crappy shows aimed just to make quick money with total disregard to the story and quality.

I also read that GJ once advised his fans to use voucher when buying Starbucks to get discount and ZZH knows nothing about his money since all his finances is handled by his mom LOL. At this day and age where all the celebrities compete to show off their wealth and seek attention, their attitude is really refreshing. I hope they will stay humble and just focus on improving their skills and works.

I'm praying hard for them not to experience what the previous BL couples have gone through. I'd like to think that both the actors and fans learned from the previous experience and try not to let that happen again. And I honestly think that GJ and ZZH don't have that "CP feeling" in real life, they are both just like two silly kindergarten kids who can't stop bickering and making fun of each other XD

Wow, the cinematography is absolutely stunning! It feels like a movie quality instead of web drama. Another BL-adaptation drama to look forward to after Word of Honor!

I think it's refreshing to see how GJ and ZZH handle their current rising of popularity. They both are very chill about their "CP" things, their interactions in interview and variety show are also very natural and relaxed showing that they are indeed good buddies in real life. I really hope that this good relationship will continue and their fandoms will not start tearing them apart, so that they can still collaborate in the future projects.

Currently 1 1/2. I rewatched Ep 1-19 before I got Youku VIP since I got a bit confused during my first watch and rewatching it made a lot more sense and helped to understand the story more. Will start the 2nd full rewatch soon, but I'm afraid I will get thrown back again to the WOH deep hole T__T

Apparently there is extra chapter in the printed version of Tian Ya Ke novel which doesn't exist in the digital version. A fan has roughly summarized/translated the extra in a long thread. It's sooo sweet!! Can't ask for a better ending for a story. Hopefully someone will properly translate this later.
